I like that "swedish" variation of the twister. I love doing a version from side control where you pull the far leg over and do a front roll. If done right you end up in the truck position, from there you have so many wonderful options, I useually go for the calf crush, but I will definantly work on the swedish variation. i first saw the twister in MARIO SPERRY VALE TUDO SERIES 1 INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEOS in 1996. but eddie's twister is far more complex and has more original stuff to it.

Eddie didn't invent the move. But notice he never claims to. So idk why people like hating on him by saying he didnt invent it. He just added the neck crank to the wrestling pin cuz it works. He made the move famous by his success in competition with it. But that still deserves credit. Its his move as far as im concerned

If I had a technique based on another martial art, added details to help it work, I would ALWAYS mention where it came from (after centuries with nobody praised, now it's the Lister, or Bravo, or Jung twister?). Now included in sport, money, with exotic flair and names, ("BJJ"!! "Twister"!!) = cool-factor = followers.
