@Bryant2210 r u retarded??? sealed boxes hit the entire low frequency spectrum a hella lot better than a ported box. ur a complete ass clown. if you really think that sealed boxes arent good, why do my subs bump to the point of my windows flexing???? ported subs are only made to be loud at certain frequencys and the rest are ok. ported is good, but sealed will hit deeper, harder, and cleaner than a ported setup. a capacitor is not shit, its made to charge and discharge power extremely.....

um i used a rca converter that i had to splice in then connect the rca wires from amp to that then the deck worked and then on the deck i could control my bass because it had the EQ settings on it aswell.

the Bass knob was just if there if i wanted some more bass

since you dont have an aftermarket head unit. do u just use the bass knob to control the subwoofer bass. like if you have ur headunit on 1 volume. and sub bass knob all the way up, is it putting full power to the subs?

I had one P2 hooked up to a JBL 600W mono. I dont listen to lil wayne so I didn't need the extra bass. Two of these is just too much for me. The one P2 was enough for me and I had to have the bass settings on negative but it still pounded. Sadly I got jacked. Probably by some lil wayne listening tweakers! So now I'm debating between the P3s or JL 12w1s for replacements

@nickpuma19 no these are in a sealed box, and thats why they lasted so long, there still in perfect condition. its just the cones plastic cover cracks a bit but thats nothing. hope that helps

nice setup fo sho, shoulda ported it though, cause then you'd get the full bass sounds, and yes your RPMS are going to fluctuate regardless of the subs being on or off.

And before you go all ("you don't have a system go and buy one and upload a video..if you can afford one") I do have a system and It DID wreck my alternator even with my capacitor. lol

I'm sorry, but I have to point this out. Why did you keep pointing out your RPM's? RPM's go up and down normally, because your motor isn't always at a constant idle. If anything, you would point out your voltage, which if you have a huge system, would jump a lot. Other than that, not bad. I plan on getting 2 12" P2 soon. Already have my Pioneer DEH-P5100UB deck and (2) 4x6 Infinity 2-way and (2) 6x9 Infinity 3-way. I'm half-way there! :)

i got a p3 12 dual 4 ohm sub bein pushed by a rockford fosgate 300by 1 2 ohm amp.. the box is up to specs and my highs are 2 infinity 6 by 9 and 2 6 by 6 in my doors on my 2007 toyota tacoma extended cab... highs are fukin great but sub is not up to par... any suggestions? i paid a shit load of money for this system and it should be slammin but somethings not right.. please help.

idk the rms of the p3 12 im nore into RE... so idk but i think its 500rms 1000pk for the p3...... so ur 300.1 should be good cuz rockford does there rms they put on the amp like the 300 500 1000 etc all are at 12v when cars run at like 14.4... so for example my t1000.1bd actualy does 1346rms.. su ur box is prolly not correct for the sub... bad seal wrong size port/vent.... id hafta look at wats going on in that trunk to know for sure whatsupp though....

hey u could just hook up the old stuff but do u have 0 gauge wire in thier right now cause the rockford fosgate 4000 will need 0 gauge and a yellow top should be ok but u will need to do the big three under the hood. check out my vids.

yea and yea one good battery like yellow top optima or kinetik. and to really help do the big three. all u do is take 0 gauge and run it from the positive on the alternator to the + on the batt then run a 0 gauge from the - on batt to body of car then - from batt to the engine somewhere. itll help with power and might up the volts a tny better.

the reason your needle moves is because you are losing power and it goes up a 100 rpm to compensate, it does the exact same thing when you turn the AC on in your car
