In Excel -format the columns w/ Long/Lat values as NUMBER, If possible, use a minimum of 8 decimal places. Label columns - NO SPACES. Remove extra Excel sheets.
Grab cells in those rows and columns with data. Navigate to File > Print Area > Set Print Area.
File > Save As and select a format from choices. Then click Yes when Excel says that certain formatting is not supported in this file format.
Make sure you Exit Excel completely. Click No when Excel prompts to save the changes.
hi , every time i move from excel to Arcmap the Y coordinates turn to zero but the Xcoordinates remain the same ,why is that happening ? btw great tutorial!
