Wangari Maathai: May you be as blessed as you have been a blessing not only to your community and country, but to the world over. May the Great Spirit receive You in abundant joy and love. -RIP
RIP Wangari Maathai. Truly a great leader and visionary. Her life is forever celebrated through her work and the everlasting impact to her country and in educating the world about the power to voice out opinions, even when opinions are not allowed.
She was a amazing woman which fights for good ideals and for the whole african continent. The world lost a important person in the fight against hunger and poverty of this continent. Hope a lot of people will continue the work she has started. In our hearts we stand beside you and support you. Best wishes to all african people from your friends in Germany

its so so sad, and yet so so inspiring still, how much just one person ONE DETERMINED PERSON , can do. supposed we have just a hundred like Wangari?? We can throw out bad governance and have a beautiful country....R.I.P. Wangari

Let us all find Wangari's strength in ourselves so we can stand up for what is right and protect what we know is right from those that hold nothing to be sacred. Seek out those people in your community that know right from wrong, and those who want to make a change that is good.
