Well the Corot satellite has found The First rocky Extrasolar planet called Corot-7B. It is almost the size of Jupiter and it is Solid. That`s a big discovery. look for it, search it.
I can't stand that every person I've ever talked to (except my friend Mike) assumes that other life is as delicate as ours! That's an arrogant thought, and completely close minded. To think that we're the only "type" of life in this universe is a prejudice, and something we're quite good at as homo sapiens. Just look at the Neanderthals...
we haven't met any other type of lifeforms outside our planet yet, so thinking that extraterrestrial life is similar like in Earth is as valid as any other idea.
Update: COROT has found the smallest terrestrial planet ever detected outside the Solar System. The amazing planet is less than twice the size of Earth and orbits a Sun-like star. To find out more.. see link in info box.
At 1:27 I think that planet is Nirbu.

Thats cool. If we come in to contact with life it's pretty sad that it would take so long to fly a rocket there
