Sweet! Are you using a rechargable battery for power storage, or a large capacitor? That blue LED must require a higher voltage than red... does it run down the power quicker? What values are you using for the timing capacitors?
it was a flat set of batteries underneath the board. and yes I did have some issues with the blue LED...added a second solar cell and higher voltage battery to match. no idea anymore on the capacitors but think I followed the BEAM circuit provided MAKE magazine's issue covering BEAM and pummers...it was the first I ever did.
