  • I read in a article it will be cheaper if not the same price because of the fill being 98% water and the way the shell is made it will be easier to mass produse and it being cheaper will probably mean more field will use it I just wish they tell us the places they will sell it at

  • When's this being released?

  • I think it'll be more expensive.. But thats me.. But we'll see.

  • Hey HydroTec, I've been trying to communicate with you in every possible way and it has been impossible. I hope that your paintballs will be good than that.

  • If the shell is any good, they need to use the same fill procaps uses. The stuff they show in this video looks like it will suck and stick around when it dries out. When procaps paint dries it gets chalky and blows away.

  • has any one shot it and can testify besides the owner, designer, shareholder, techie? has anyone any footage of this round in action....?

  • I can't wait to get my hands on this stuff... It sounds amazing!!!!!!!!!!

  • is there an increase in range from these paintballs? Say if you were to fire a regular paintball at 280 FPS and then you fire this one at 280 FPS, would there be a difference in range due to the fill and shell being some what different?

  • @NightStrike91 probably not a change in velocity (ie coming out of the barrel faster) but because the fill is solid until impact you would most likely see an increase in accuracy and maybe range (ball is still round so wind and such would still affect it.)

  • Would this let playes freeze paintballs? :(

  • @PbDevastation yah thats the big downfall. since its more like water (98%) it would be 98% ice thaT is very bad for the sport trying to maintain its " safe" nature

  • @DYNASTYxPRO It would expand too much and split the shell

  • @DYNASTYxPRO actually no. water when frozen expands. since this is like 98% water the expansion rate would be greater than the shell could handle and it would actually pop the seams and render the paintball useless.

  • @PbDevastation No, it would expand too much and split the shell

  • think of how the "solid" fill could increase accuracy. Where paintballs used to have the liquid fill that twists and turns, potentially causing the ball to spin weird and curve, this may solve that

  • This sounds good, especially how it has a long shelf life and doesnt dimple. But is it going to be affordable? Or just another $60 a box "tourny" paint?

  • I'm from europe, started playing competitive paintball this year and i hope these paintballs bring alot more ppl to the sport due to its low price. I hope local paintball fields don´t try to make more profit by keeping the prices...cause the main reason more ppl dont play this sport is money !

  • @nidin45 you make a very valid point, however prices haven't been released, so it may be the same price...
