Listen to the french version done by Jennifer titled '' rien ni personne '' ...Probably you wouldn't understand a word but pay attention to that powerful voice ....
As anyone got the far superior version of this by "The Owl" Can't find it on you tube and its not on any compilation that i know of. Somebody please help me.
I'm looking for the JVE song 'Who Are My Friends' that Penny Valentine raved about in her column back in 1970. Disappointed not to have found it here.
I wish this video was in color. Crushed velvet pants... and that blouse looks like it would be a psychadelic dream! I just bought the Thanks CD... and have been OD'ing on it for the last week.
I LOVE THIS!! My friend Rosemarie Edwards turned me on to this, I cna't believe music this good has gotten past me all these years. i'm buying a CD with this for sure!
Bellissima, bellissima, bellissima ma i ricordi sono un'altra cosa, avete ragione Alba e Pasquale! 5 stelle se le merita anche Pierre Tubbs e per i Nomadi...5 cuori!!!
I bought this single when it came out, I was 16, and it was one of my fav songs at the time. My brother asked to borrow my records to take to a party and I said he could take any but this one. Needless to say, he took it and left it there. This is the first time I have heard the song since then. Thanks for the great memories.
thats right j vincent edwards was the lead singer in owl also produced by his close friend pierre tubbs who was also in owl thanks for your nice comment
Back in the early 1970s I used to frequent a pub in Leeds where this song was kept permanently on the juke box as it was one of the landlady's favourites. Does anyone know when it was originally released and if it can still be purchased in any form?
Original release was in 1969 - I bought the CBS single, then "Thanks" and "Who Are My Friends" which followed. Amazon stock the J. Vincent Edwards CD "Thanks", which includes this and 22 other tracks. Can't comment on most of them yet as I've only just ordered it.

Bravo, ma la versione del mitico indimenticabile Augusto Daolio e dei Nomadi ("Mai come lei nessuna") è estremamente più energica e coinvolgente.

I turned 24 in 1987 too...it always seemed so far off!
This was also done by The Owl in 1968...one of my favourite songs of all time. Should have been a huge hit.
