I had a speccy and my parents had a c64 at the time. I liked them both but my heart was always drawn towards the spectrum. I now have a 360. I sit there and hapily play mw3 with it's lovely hd graphics and special effects. But there is something missing which makes it not as enjoyable to play as a spectrum game. Does anyone else feel the same?

Jeez so many insecure spectrum fanboys here, Sorry to break your bubble but there's no competition. I'm secure in the fact the C64 was the superior machine. Let's compare games which pushed the envelope on the C64 and compare them shall we? Turrican, need I say more?

which spectrum? i had the ZX+2 one of the last cassette ones, and even had the graces to have an intergrated drive

well, don't know if you should compare this 2 computers, the rivals of C64 were Atari, MSX among others, SZ Spectrum although its technology was a bit inferior than C64 it was a great computer. I had both.

the C64 was a bit better then the spectrum but considering they were both 8 bit systems they would have both lost if you Compared them to games for the the intellivision 2 console which was a 16bit system
