That's not lost... they do this in all the stage versions. You mean its just the ending not used on the Original Cast recording. Its on the movie soundtrack.
Broadway recording with most the main characters (but set disgner bryan sounds different!) and i have the one thats most likely from the film, and only has the CONGAA bit at the end....and the same people but some bits are cut.

plus why if they recorded it in soundtrack why cut it out? isnt that just harder for them!?
I was at one of the shows, that's how they ended that scene each time.

Better or not, anyway the Original Broadway Cast Recording CD has not this scene, although it was recorded.
