  • COMMUNICATION BREAKDOEN by 1969 Led Zeppelin 当時高校生の私、これからおかしくなった!

  • @blackandtanful いま高校生の俺ですが、おれもおかしくなりました!

  • The reason why everyone is just sitting there is because they don't even know what just hit them.

  • Oh my, If I Were There...

  • June 1969. It was recorded for a French TV show, and broadcast a few months later. I think it was "Tous en Scene."

  • the crowd look like someone must have looked in the 1840's when a locomotive came rumbling past . Dear God what is it ? I don't know , but it's loud and powerful and cannot be ignored , because it may just change the world as we now know it ..

  • @lopartino19 tell us how you really feel

  • 10 people obviously dont have ears

  • FLAME WAR!!!!!!!!!!

  • @lopartino19 I would say that it's time for you to increase your medications. The stuff you're on now isn't working.

  • Led Zep SUCKS!!!!!!

  • @drnapls2 You sir are an ignorant fool whose ears have probably been tarnished over time by the likes of Lady Gaga,

To be honest, I pity you and your woefully incomplete musical taste.

  • Wow I really don't see how one single person in that crowd could be sitting down! If you look though they're not even moving! Crazy.

  • This is the BEST Beastie Boys cover EVER!

  • 0:49

  • Am I the only one tired of all of the Ear-gasm God whatever responses?

  • Plant is very thin on this video...

  • funny how robert is doing his best roger daltrey impersonation. kind of lost the mic there a bit, it went airborne for a second lol. He was still trying to find his foot prints on stage i suppose.

  • Hendrix was still alive.

  • Led Zeppelin will go down in history like Beethoven, JS Bach and Mozart did.

  • because of this bad experience doing this performance, they nearly never performed on television, thank god for that

  • to jest k...a jakis proto pank und heavy i ... fuck the rest

  • i can hear your heart 300 miles away

  • ロバートがロジャーダルトリーに見える

  • bad quality...

    a lot bad!

    Write Led Zeppelin 1969 Paris...

and if it isn't there and you think I'm lying about the good quality, which I'm not, just watch just the start of my vid "Led Zeppelin" which is this, but good quality, just to prove it to you. I'm not being a jerk, I'm just saying lol.

  • ALL OF THEM, FUCKING MASTERS!!! and public?? what hell are they doing?

  • @1:58

to the left of plants head

i wish i was that kid

  • @SGJunit u would be getting old by now if u were

  • No wonder Plant's hair always had so much body :). I think HE invented head banging right here.

  • Brought a tear to my eye. Totally fucking pure.

  • This is totally mind blowing. I wish there was a high quality audio of this concert.

  • @reportanddeport

    there is...

Just write Led Zeppelin Paris 1969...

  • 1969 -1975 at al the live shows Plant looks likes hes having sex

  • well here Plant is singing for reals....cuz he still could. He ragged his voice so bad that by 1973 he couldn't sing worth a shit live. But here, he could still belt. beautiful. When Plant was at the height of his vocal powers, he was up there with all the greatest singers EVER.

  • Robert Plant is effin incredible!

  • This was the last time an audience stood still at a Zeppelin Concert.

  • @Zeon707

This wasn't a concert it was TV program, the audience of the show had to stay seated.

  • @LinkBulletBill I don't know that I could have remained seated. At the :10 second mark, I would have been tempted to get up and rock out enjoying the moment. I mean, this is rock n roll, pure and unadulterated.

  • @OhThor

    mmm, the past lol

like when eric clapton plays in shows some ppl still sit

  • its weird how im rocking to this song but in the video there watching them like "WTF is this?" lol

  • what a rock and roll band!

  • sounds like plant is using falsetto to hit those high notes, i wonder if he did that on the album?

  • @modernmusicsucks9 Without a doubt... He had the screaming falsetto donw to science. Smooth and precise and thundrous.

  • in the end there is solo from whole lotta love wow 2:10

  • its funny to think that probably hardly anyone who was there really had any idea what they were seeing..

  • @pissonrushsgrave I`ve read that exact quote b4 about this concert, the crowd sat there like it was a puppet show ,lol,"they did`nt know what they were seeing', and that`s why Jimmy is the inventor of hard/prog rock, jus` a little ahead of his time, great quote

  • @pissonrushsgrave

    haha thts hella funny

theyv never gotten the led out

  • great song

  • Awesome solo in this one. Page on FIRE!

  • whoa, this is insanely cool, oct. 10 1969 paris france. their second album was finished and would be out in 12 days. they finished their first two in '69. they were working their asses off and would soon be blowing up around the world. amazing footage and audio, a little out of synch, oh well. wow.

  • love to see bands when they were still trying to make it. what a gem you have here. I wonder if any one in the crowd knew they were watching (arguably) the best band ever?

  • Led Zep was my first concert - 12 years old - Boston Garden - October 1969 - my kids are so jealous!!! Greatest band ever and I will never forget it - I still listen to their music all the time!

  • This stuff was revolutionary. The audience had no idea what the fuck they were listening to. Sitting there in utter shock.

  • Bonham proved that machines can be gods, and hes the reason i play drums today

  • Look at that fucking "crowd". They look like they're watching a fucking Hugh Grant movie in an uncomfortable cinema. God, bands think they've got it bad when the audience aren't jumping around and that, but at least they're standing up!

  • thts not a crowd, those are fucking cardboard ppl!! cus if they were real, i wud rape them in the face!!

  • Oh my god, Jimmy's guitar playing is sex!

  • Crowd just sits there like stiffs. Meanwhile I am sitting here in 2010 dreaming of seeing Led =S

  • simply amazing

  • lamest crowd EVER!!!!!!

  • @crazytown112233 If only I could contradict you...

  • Plant and Page were so incredible in their primes. Plant could sing with passion and emotion at any any pitch. Not many singers can do it. Jimmy Page is just a musical genius who has attitude and invented GOOD shredding. Different style than hendrix. who acted like the guitar was apart of his body. No guitar player has ever connected with his axe like hendrix. Bad singer though

  • Hold on a second, I'll be back to watch more zep videos- I just have to change my pants.

  • I hate how lame the crowd is!!! And they were filled with emotion playing for these stiffs!

  • sharrer2 - lol!

  • fuck that Crowd.. LED ROCKS \m/

  • 2:05 to 2:25 .. zeppelin is a fucking beast omfg best band ever...

  • Thanks for the video, dude.

  • not only were these people witnessing a historic band in their prime but it sounds like the acoustics were amazing in that place. Plants voice has a giant gymnasium echo to it, and was strong enough to fill every corner of the venue. Yup, wish I was there. Great post, nxt bst thng.

  • EVERYONE SEEMS TO BE HAVING A BIG MISUNDERSTANDING WITH THE CROWD!!!!

The reason they're not even moving is because Bonzo's massive drumming rendered them deaf almost immediately, and they were therefore unable to hear the glorious music that followed.

  • Da geht der "Punk" ab!!!

  • awesome band n as the man said i wud kill myself to attend this concert lol never mind any one else

  • Sad that the crowd at the time didn't realize that they were watching one of the best - well, maybe THE BEST - band on Rock 'n roll history.

I would kill someone to attend this concert.

  • @LEON2808 - They were the first band I saw - Boston Garden October 1969 - changed my life - I was 12 years old so of course I couldn't believe what I was hearing - smoke was so thick in the Garden - could be the reason people sat there motionless - so high! Anyhow, I can assure you that we did realize what we were witnessing - I still listen to their music to this day - and so do all of my kids! There will NEVER be anything like them EVER AGAIN!

  • audience looks like they are anthropologists studying strange culture

  • @MrWeltschmerz That's right, as far as I remember this concert was performed in France in some kind of gym or something when Led Zeppelin was just startin up, so maybe that's why the audience was more curious about who these new guys were than in any other thing.

  • @MrWeltschmerz theyre french and in france i think audiences are more expected to respectfully listen and not show much reaction

  • @MrWeltschmerz I guess most long-haired bands at that time played hippie-trippy-dippy shit. This is not hippie-trippy-dippy shit!

  • Comment removed

  • @MrWeltschmerz You see that a lot from Western European audiences. You'd think they were so reserved and, controlled, but then there is also those riots the Germans threw to Jerry Lee Lewis and, the Beatles. You'd think they never had dance halls and, parties, but would just sit and, talk.

  • @TheBatman2194

A group like this needs to be studied, in a way. The uptempo stuff is maybe a bit complex for disco dancing. An incredible studio & live act. No "dog & pony show".

  • 1:39 is that a bride up there?

  • hehe...Plant doing his best Roger Daultry impression with the mic.

  • Look at plant go !!! JEEZ AWESOME!!!

  • the pinnacle of Plant's voals. By '75, he could not hit the notes.

what a weak crowd, indeed. transport me back, I'd be headbanging!

  • what the fuck is wrong with the audience!

    they arent even moving!

    sunuvabitches

  • @dirtynuke this is early Led Zeppelin, so they werent very popular at this time.

  • Tha not really true, the individual members, especially Jimmy had already made name for themselves, Zep was pretty big right from the start

  • What an incredible song what an incredible band

  • This was from a 1969 concert in Paris

    This stuff is priceless

    Zep forever

  • plants shredding

  • @taygoo13 Maybe I don't get you, but Jimmy page is the guitarist, so I think that he s is shredding... Plant is the vocals, or maybe, you can shred with your voice?

  • @Maor686 Yes he is very energetic and hitting his high notes well sorry mr. technical

  • Tune in, Turn out, burn rubber.........

  • J.H. BONZO!!!!

  • If you're reading this comment then that means i would have killed you to be at this concert.

  • @sharrer2 i like your style.

  • @sharrer2

    me? C'mon, Chris!

  • @francescaemc2 Maybe not you... Maybe. ;D

  • @sharrer2 But what if Jimmy Page read this?

  • @AshlandMen Then everyone dies of irony.

  • @sharrer2 - I was 18 when I saw them at the Fillmore East - lots of groovy bands at the Fillmore including Zeppelin

  • fuck awesome zeppelin fuck fuck cool shit fuck

  • 1969:''what...the...fuck is going on......''

John Henry Fucking Bonham is my idol, and the reason i play drums today

  • Just like how James Patrick Fucking Page is my idol and the reason i play guitar today :D

  • @boredperson778 I didn't know you could legally have "fucking" in your name. Ahh, gotta love the seventies.

  • @boredperson778 yup! surely the inventor of hard/prog/ rock as we know it today

  • @boredperson778 me too

  • same reason for me

  • holy fucking shit. the best bass, best guitarist, best drummer , the best front man. all in one name : led fucking zeppelin

  • u r gay

  • u don´t supossed to compared...

  • No way. John " The Ox" Entwistle is the best bass ever

  • He was good, but JPJ was king

  • it depends what you like doesn't it? Some think Bootsy is the greatest

  • They were well ahead of their time. Long Live the kings!

  • Im guessing a lot of these people in the audience had never seen anything this raw in their lives and were just somewhat stunned by it.

  • It was 1969, the crowd was to stoned to be enthused!!

  • Comment removed

  • Love Page's solo on this one

  • Forgive the audience, this was in Paris, I believe, and times were much different than today, in Europe the audiences tended to listen respectfully at concerts during that time, they were the audience, not the show, they weren't a mosh pit (don't fuck with me, just stating the facts, ma'am), that's how it was. And, I bet you they were tripping on heavier shit than you can imagine.

  • @UprightBoltUpright You are exactly right about that. Part of it too was that this this was more progressive than anything they had ever heard before.

  • bonzo is so skillful..playin with one stick while twirling the other stick..he is a god

  • He's my fucking drumming hero.

  • Authentic, inspired, raw, pure powerful rock. This was the real deal. Audience is in shock because in 1969 very few had heard that unique Zeppelin sound they would weave as they conquered the rock world. Countless thousands of bands tried to capture that Zep magic but none ever got close.

  • This song live deserves more of an enthusiastic crowd...they're like zombies for Pete's sake !!!!

  • this wasn't a Led Zep gig, it was a show case of 3 songs for an unknown audience.

  • I'm 18, grew up first listening to classical, than pop, then modern hard rock like breaking benjamin, three days grace, etc.

then I heard Zeppelin and Hendrix and it blew me away.

  • welcome to the world haha...

  • Timeless music isn't it? I'm almost 30 years older than you and also grew up listening to Zep. Matter of fact, I bought Physical Graffiiti when it came out.

  • you my freind....saw the light

  • love your name dude

  • I think the crowd died of awesomeness since the first second.

  • I do not believe that this music played only four piece.

  • looks like this is from June of 69 and was in the middle of LZ's busiest year. they did like 150 shows that year plus recorded LZ II in between.

  • yeah, definetely after april, when Page bought his #1 Les Paul

  • All the audiences of the early shows were like this. In London they sat a caberet style tables like they were at a dinner show and politely clapped after each song. Such a contrast to what was happening on stage. I love the early stuff.

  • This is PHENOMENAL!!! The lack of any pulse from the French audience is probably because they were in an utter state of shock. Remember this was 69 or 70 so at this point, other than Hendrix, they had NEVER heard anything like this

  • I love it because you can actually hear the music

  • (Yeah) The fucking crowd did think it was Lawrence Welk Huh? (WHO?!!) WTF?!! BEST BAND EVER. <PERIOD, END OF STORY!

  • THIS IS THE SHIT!

  • blows my fucking mind away. Amazing music, its crazy. God Bless Jimmy page, and his soul! and the whole music group... legends

  • Those poor kids in the crowd they didn't know what to believe of witnessing this intense "Rock & Roll"

  • fucking epic !!!

  • so heavy!

  • i'm communication

  • That's insane.

  • yea at one time i said to my mate jimmy (jimmy page) i said you should try using a bow or some such to play your guitar and well as they say the rest is history see the dazed and confused video here on youtube

  • -novass9-

And you expect us to beleive you?

  • this must have been one of the first shows with his Les Paul

  • I love the DVD, my favourite DVD ever!

  • Writing so fast I put/ wrote wrongly. Instead of: wan´t is, of course it is: it wasn´t me who...

  • Scruggsnote4note, I don´t know if you´re talking about me, but it wan´t me who said this stupid, thoughtless nonsense. Just in case it´s about me, people must learn 1st English only after make notes.

  • what venue was this?

  • WTF has punk to do with the appearance of the CREATORS? Jimmy could NEVER learn how to play anything ´cause HE is the CREATOR of the universe, so We- creatures of HIS creation- must only hear, appreciate, be eternally thankfull and KEEP our mouth SHUT to saying nonsenses.

  • novass9 what are you really trying to provoke? Do you want to show off?

  • damn this crowd had no idea what they were in for
