on psp you can use wildcat as a glitch like having ur qb in to take the snap and i personally send all my players in a streak and the glitch is that when ur qb is in the whole entire defense will blitz no matter what play they are doin and wildcat normal formation you just got to send you back up hb in a streak and call hike with ur hb thats taking the snap and just run to the right and no one will be on the right side of the field on defense until you pass the line of scrimage

the left guard pulls all i do is run threw with a linebacker and i usually hit the back b4 he goes anywhere.. not hard to stop and yes of course they break the tackle every now and then or get some bs pitch lol

That's not as much of a money play as if you do it on the Playstation 2 version. I know that nobody plays the PS2 version anymore, but if you do, if you are playing the computer, that exact wildcat play is absolute money. Even if you are playing on All-Madden, you can easily get 20 to 30 yards per carry against the CPU. That play works like 90-95 percent of the time.

the wildcat never works on me.. i kinda put two and two together when the QB is lined up as a WR.. i shift my ROLB behind the corner leaving me open to take the WR down in a heartbeat

@ hunt yea now ea patched it your running back stands there for about a second when he recieves the ball so its not a sucessful, but it works on goal line wait for 1 sec on the play crock and it will be like a direct snap.

this only works cause the defense is playing a base man or zone coverage. Whe i see wildcat i blitz everyone and shut it down

This is a good play. I play with the panthers and got used to their wildcat even though its only 3 plays. I don't like having to wait for the fake which is in every other wildcat. Since the panthers wildcat doesn't have that element, doesn't it make it just a HB direct snap? Plus i like running up the middle with it and you cant do that with the other wildcat, especially on the goal line.

You can do it with every wildcat formation. You just have to wait for there to be 2 seconds left and snap. No fake.

Wildcat was a gimmick on madden, it used to get automatic 1st downs against me. Then I realized..."Hey, if I blitz the outhside, maybe these cheesing little fucks will quit using the same play".

a wild cat with a running back is so simple to stop.. just blitz the edges or even do an engage 8 out of the 3-4 or bear. most wildcat plays have the RB running... not passing. take you chances on the RB not passing and blitz heavy. take a safety/corner and just shadow the running back, youll either make the tackle or take away a blocker so the cpu makes the tackle

lol I just run a goal line blitz and play as the SS. Its easy to stop and the running back will get sacked more than actually get a throw off.

One of my fav but you can have a lot of success stopping this play. 46 formation and blitz the strong side on the edges. But you can mix it up with the play-action SHORT pass to thow it off, but don't trust the RB's arm for the long pass unless he's WIDE open.
