nice bend man,try adding an audio out so you can run it through an effects processor. You would be amazed with what you can get those things to do. I have a video on my channel with a keyboard alot like this.
yup, you connect a wire between resistors and/or capacitors, ground, power, etc.. pretty much if you touch the circuit board and it makes a funny sound you can run a wire off that sound and mount it..
actually instead of buying body contacs i've resorted to using spare bass and guitar strings leftover from fellow musicians, it prevents waste and looks and works great once you get the hang of it, ima have to post some of my work here soon. love the benders!
I just found out about circuit bending through a mag in AZ... and I work at a Circuit Board manufacturer!! I even program SMT machines no less. I've been searching YouTube for bent toys, and this is one of the best! Good job! ..sorry, i'm drunk.
i like this one a lot! those bends sound kind of MUSICAL! and the natural sound is kind of nice itself. can you find out exactly what it is, where it was bought? good work!
it was bought at a CVS Store here in Long Beach, ca. They are very cheap, no name brand type deals. The orig sound has been moded as well, We added an extra cap (the board has alot of predrilled holes with contacts, the cap created the brief sustain) not sure of the value.
oh it had an audio out, that is the main reason to open these stupid toys up.

how do you get the body contacts to make it make that sound, do you connect it to a wire?

pretty much the simplest, cheapest and easiest feature in circuit bending.

That was great. I circuit bend a lot myself. That keyboard could easily be played with a bent Casio or Roland live; I'm sure people would enjoy it!

good find, its hard to find small tin-tone keybs like that that will offer that much flexibility..well done.
