By what part of your plane do you hang it on the wall. I'd like to store mine that way too, but am worried about hurting something - or it dropping. Thanks
Metal "S" hook tied to some nylon string which goes up to the ceiling and over a pulley and drops back down to reachable level. Hook "S" hook to wire support above rear steer wheel, pull the other end of the string and up she goes, high up against the wall and out of harm's way.
It is a spraypaint, so I didn;t go back and add multiple coats...just a good initial covering. Weight addition is negligable. We even covered all with packaging tape for strength and the ability to bounce of the ground and trees. The Super Cub has a good strong motor. It can stand a bit of additional weight without affecting its flight characteristics.
I used Krylon H2O as I read online was best for styrofoam. I'm not sure I agree. On our red Super Cub, the paint after drying can actually be peeled off...not strong adhesion. However, afer wrapping the plane in pkg tape, it is not an issue. Without the wrap, it would be a problem.
I really love this paint scheme so I painted it on my mini super cub!! (: THANKS FOR THE VIDEO!!

Why type of wings did you use? Symmetrical or the flat-sided ones?
