Does anyone know where there is another recording of this song? I need to find a recording of this song that actually has embellishments. As my music teacher tells me; the Baroque was a lot of improve. This violist doesn't improvise on any of this movement, while I am told you are supposed to. So I need help find other recordings. I can't find any others. Please help if you can.

If trills are called for it would be on the written manusript. What you are wanting are silly little mini cadenza's really. You are correct in that Baroque requiers invention, but by the composer only. All the artist has to do is to follow the line and let it flow. Now check ourt some Tartini and some Corelli if you want obligatory embelishments. They were the trill experts.
