I had just found out that he passed away several months ago. Mr. Tootoosis was such an amazing actor and is one of few favourite Canadian actors I love. I wish I had met him in person. Rest in peace.

A sad loss. My first sight of Gordon was on a film set in the prairies. They had built a replica of a 19th century town. He galloped in, riding bareback, at sunset with a lake in the background, with a couple of the other Indian actors. I talked to him a few times... I always thought of him as the true heir of Chief Dan George.
