@Jacycallista I always laugh at how quick these "internet crusaders" like to misuse the word "cruelty".
Unlike silly, delusional, jaded, self righteous and often overly self entitled humans, cats (as well as most animals) are pretty uncomplicated. They wont really be traumatized or even think about it too much. The next yummy meal will win them over.
Burning, beating, shooting or starving a cat is true cruelty. This isn't anything that is even remotely cruel. Its simple feline annoyance.
