Judging by cops' aforementioned behavior and ridiculously exaggerated physiques, cops seem to be more concerned about flexing their metaphorical, imagined and literal muscles of power than about upholding any law.
Police officers are turned into sociopaths and brainwashed into deifying and glorifying cops whilst dehumanizing civilians and viewing them as felons and the evil enemy. Thus, even so-called good cops unconditionally support diabolical ones because they believe that cops can do no wrong. Due to a gargantuan lack of police accountability, this us-against-them mindset is perpetually fed at the expense of the law-abiding taxpayers who pay the cops' salaries, via en masse police misconduct.
But it could be worse. Randolph, Mass has a gay police chief. I imagine the cops have great looking uniforms now, but the chief probably ignores sexual predators, etc. I'd almost rather have redneck, violent cops than PC pussyass cops.
I'm of two minds on this. I got beat up by these cops, when my ex told them I slapped her (she slapped me; I put up my arms in self-defense only). They also harassed my 69 year old mom and told her she was going to jail. But since this video, the cops have gone too far the other way. A website is coming soon where you'll be able to submit videos, name and location of the officer so that people can be aware of bad police in their areas. Submissions are anonymous because the webmaster will post them and not through an upload form like on youtube. It will keep the public aware of bad eggs in their area, kinda like sex offenders. It happened to me in Salt Lake City Utah close to the Matheson Courthouse, An officer was literally torturing and beating an old man who was very confused and when I went to the nearby police station to complain I was threatened that I'd better get out while the going was good. I was with a friend of mine Jim and the officers were VERY serious! It actually took me a minute to get it as I thought they had to be kidding but the look on Jim's face..he's from Utah told me to get out like they said
#1. The policy your cited stated that you get the form after informing the on duty supervisor. The "investigator" refused to talk to the supervisor, then was mad when he didn't get a form. It doesn't make sense to be upset about not getting the form.
#2. The "investigator" was not slammed into the glass. The "investigator" hit his own head on the glass. If you watch the officer his arms make no movement to shove the "investigator."
This situation was fabricated by the "investigator."
That is the way it goes! They don't follow rules! There are WAY too many people in jail that should not be there... and others that should be in jail and are not! There are people that had to go to prison and now have felonies on their record JUST because they did not have proper council! I know this for a fact! The justice system needs a lot of investigation.
every PD needs to be monitored by an external agency that is NOT connected in any way to the PD. Do a youtube search for "Omaha Police gone wild". Those are my videos. The most recent is called "Omaha Police gone wild - Watergate Revisited". It summarized the whole story.
Filing a complaint is never an option. I tried filing a complaint in person and was laughed at. I tried filing a complain on the PD website and was ignored until I got angry. 8 cops jumped me. do not trust cops ever.

When they were called to help me they refused to get statements from the witnesses who saw me being attacked or anything. I Had to hire a private I. to collect statements from the witnesses and get the video surveillance. Cost me thousands! When I told the P.I. (an ex-cop) that I planned on filing a complaint about the cops he told me not to bother because the cops would more likely harrass me if I asked for a complaint form. He also said it would only end up in the garbage after I left.

Well if he was infact waiting there for over 20 minutes I would say that is plenty of patience. He hardly seemed combative to me, in fact he managed to stay more calm than the officer.

I'm of two minds on this. I got beat up by these cops, when my ex told them I slapped her (she slapped me; I put up my arms in self-defense only). They also harassed my 69 year old mom and told her she was going to jail. But since this video, the cops have gone too far the other way. A website is coming soon where you'll be able to submit videos, name and location of the officer so that people can be aware of bad police in their areas. Submissions are anonymous because the webmaster will post them and not through an upload form like on youtube. It will keep the public aware of bad eggs in their area, kinda like sex offenders. But to say that the TL "justifies" the AB decision is to ignore totally the parts of displays that presents opposing viewpoints, such as historian William Chafe's harsh criticism. This is precisely what happens when you give guns and power to a group with little to no accountability. That's an intoxicating combination.
Therefore you have to have accountability. Some sort of civilian review board that investigates these types of things and hands down actual, real punishment. That's the only way to minimize abuse.

#1. The policy your cited stated that you get the form after informing the on duty supervisor. The "investigator" refused to talk to the supervisor, then was mad when he didn't get a form. It doesn't make sense to be upset about not getting the form.
#2. The "investigator" was not slammed into the glass. The "investigator" hit his own head on the glass. If you watch the officer his arms make no movement to shove the "investigator."
This situation was fabricated by the "investigator."

every PD needs to be monitored by an external agency that is NOT connected in any way to the PD. Do a youtube search for "Omaha Police gone wild". Those are my videos. The most recent is called "Omaha Police gone wild - Watergate Revisited". It summarized the whole story.
Filing a complaint is never an option. I tried filing a complaint in person and was laughed at. I tried filing a complain on the PD website and was ignored until I got angry. 8 cops jumped me. do not trust cops ever.

When they were called to help me they refused to get statements from the witnesses who saw me being attacked or anything. I Had to hire a private I. to collect statements from the witnesses and get the video surveillance. Cost me thousands! When I told the P.I. (an ex-cop) that I planned on filing a complaint about the cops he told me not to bother because the cops would more likely harrass me if I asked for a complaint form. He also said it would only end up in the garbage after I left.

there are ways people need to go aboout this and 1 they need to talk to a supervisor and since he wanted to stay in the lobby even though no complaints are to be dusscused in the lobby he fuck himself on that one, 2 he wanted to get smart about it mouth off, who ever made this video cut parts out where he was getting pissed and cussing at the cop and so thats why he was getting arrested and 3 he threw himself into the window like a dumnass trying to file a real complaint

@inmelet: "Mouthing off" to a cop is not against the law. Nor is cussing at a cop. I have known hundreds of cops and admire the good ones tremendously as model civil servants. But too many of them act unprofessionally and think they can beat up a person just because that person is rude. You'd think different if you could hear the contemptible way some of those thug cops talk when civilians aren't around. They don't give a damn about anything except themselves.

What do you expect when you walk into a police department with a combative attitude? These people are busy saving lives (sometimes!) and cleaning up the streets (sorta) so maybe you should give them some patience? I 'm sure I could have walked in there and got a complaint form in no time. And one last thing, that "injury" he suffered? Give me a break, that's a bump on the head- cry baby.

Well if he was infact waiting there for over 20 minutes I would say that is plenty of patience. He hardly seemed combative to me, in fact he managed to stay more calm than the officer.
The fact is, the officer was not following the proper procedures. My guess is he was just another cop that thinks as long as you have a badge on your chest you can do no wrong. There are many cops like this so don't be so sure about getting a complaint form in no time.
