  • This is how I want to lay myself down into the casket...

  • love

  • i instantly came and started farting

  • Not my cup of tea really, but definitely an interesting sound. At least they're trying something different! Cheers.

  • magnificent track, although i have to say that the drums, especially the cymbals spoil the effect for me. their frequencies break into this dark sea of grumbling and crumbling and brewing. otherwise perfect. regards from germany

  • wow, never heard ambient like this before, I'm impressed

  • I like to listen to this while trying to make myself lucid dream.

  • this made me sob for nearly an hour, and im an emotionally dead existential wreck

  • @sociopathicregret how old are you? Hope that does not sound presumptuous, just woundering.

  • @EyesofNeurosis 22 in skin, 100 in heart

  • @sociopathicregret I do not know what your existence has been like, i can only relate through my personal experiential teachings.

While only being seven years older, shortly after your age great changes enhanced my experience of what we call life. As a youth, the works of Camus, Sartre, and Nietzchse, In short, the same words you used fit me.

Some days are still like this, but now i recognize that this was a transitional period to a deeper understanding, and was needed.

  • i want to die to this music

  • This is air. You inhale it again and again, only to find you need more. It mixes all of your feelings, they stir around until you feel nothing, because they become perfectly blended.Every time I hear TAP, I open my eyes and see what is in front of me in such a beautiful light. Even the crinkled gum wrapper on my desk seem to strip itself of the gray outer wrapping to extend itself towards this ever lasting music.

  • @MetalHatter Is this the lyrics?

  • @mygfisskywalker Er... no. I kinda just wrote that about this band in general.

  • I opened another website with TAP playing in the background without my knowledge before I started playing this one. Best idea ever.

  • Endless agony. Indesinence in sound. Misery Is King.

  • it's ok i guess

  • Their best song.

  • Possibly the saddest thing I've ever heard.

  • @MercilessShred Agreed.

  • I'm not saying you NEED to be stoned in order to listen to this (because you don't), but if you listen to this while baked then it goes off the scale past "Epic".

  • It is an emotional slaughter. From the best album that could possibly exist.

  • we all try so hard

  • This song deserves an HQ upload.

  • @KarolNeoQueenLP Ambient drone metal or metalgaze

  • How do people relate this to ' Evil satanic monster music' ? I dont get it ?havent they heard 'Lady blabla' ?

Hey guys, important : YouTube Randy quaid(Independence day) 'Star Whackers in Hollywood' .. LOl..

  • This is... ...real, that's the only way I can describe it, it just feels so real.

  • wow, this song is so pure and, dang i dont even know how to describe it, its just...great

  • Now I know what the inside of a 150 year old shipwreck sounds like.

  • @blzbug242 amen

  • minimalism

  • @emocortandose

    Not really

  • @Ostgud

I know from own experience this type of sound is really hard to create. I'm using at least 12 different guitar effects and next to that alot of synths, it is layer upon layer, I've made alot of different types of music but to make a sound like this, isn't easy at all.

I want to do this on stage as 'live' as possible but I really need my laptop, unfortunately. Otherwise I need like 8 guitarist or something. lol.

  • @JordiSmulders

Not really minimalistic then, is it?

  • @Ostgud

    exactly my point.

  • @JordiSmulders What can you say... the sound of emptiness is hard to replicate.

  • The album cover and the music itself are just beautiful.

  • My dream of making music is over... all I could do is TRY to replicate this brilliance over and over again.

  • RIP Kriss

  • C'est grandiose !

Greetings from Belgium, this song is just one of the most beautiful thing I ever heard...

"An old told me that a cardiac arrest seems like a elephant walks on your chest, so The Angelic Process is the most perfect cardiac arrest".

  • Awesome! That quote is my review of this album on Rate Your Music. Cool to know that other people love this album as much as I do (or enjoyed my review).

  • I enjoyed this album and your review describes exactly what I feel when I listen to it...!

  • This is some awesome stuff! It reminds me of Nadja in some spots.

  • Its like a blackhole of sound and emotion..

  • a thousand universes collapsing within itself. that is the only way to describe the angelic process.

  • officernarc said it all....

  • discovered them recently. cannot stop listenig to them! too bad that the singer died... :(

  • If pain and sadness could sing... maybe it will be singing this!!!
