because that stat is progamers playing against other progamers, so if you're among the least talented progamers you will lose a lot since most of the people you play will be better than you
Nice game. It's cool to see a pro game that is not actually played by the super-well-known pros, with your guys' commentary. These guys may not be Stork, FireBatHero, Savior, and Jaedong, but they still played an entertaining game in my opinion.
I was surprised that you weren't harping on Tempest's manly zealots, Cholera. They weren't quite manly enough to be manlots, but I would expect you to mention them.

after watching a ton of your commentarys your Reach - Mantoss comentaries drive me nuts. I'm only watching the SC scene for a year, but I've never seen reach play great by any means, i really don't get it. He's maybe a little more manly than Backho in a dress, but nonetheless not that impressive.... Really enjoyed your commentaries for a while but I think i gotta quit watching... :/
I like MuMyung too, but he was the very definition of mediocrity. He wins about half the time, makes it to many starleagues, and then get trounced by better players.
Unfortunately, he sucks majorly right now. So beating him isn't really an acoomplishment.
I think the Stars might be the quality of the performance of the player who won. Like recently, Sea vs Jaedong, the player who won only got 2 1/2 stars, but that can be due to the fact that the player might have made poor micro choices and lost too many units during the duration of the game.
Like for example, You won the match, but you constantly lost Science Vessels due to Scourge, can be a factor.
it's been confirmed that the each half-star represents counts as a win that the winner has in total in the proleague. after a player gets 10 wins, or 5 stars, they get silver/gold crowns for each win.
it's also hard to believe considering the fact that the stars appear immediately after each game. i mean, to accurately evaluate a game less than 5 seconds after it completes is a very unlikely.
As a C rank player I love how these games are like speeded up versions of my games.

Thanks. Yeah, bad judgement by the loser.

I continue to uphold that Tempest is not very good and overrated. This game is a good example.

tempest is pretty deep in GOMclassic
he recently beat jaedong 2-1

That was a really silly time to move out. He should have just planted some flaming balls of defense in his mineral lines...but no...oh well.

Idiotic final attack by Tempest. Build archons to defend against mutas, and then throw them away? Sad.

Well if someone has a higher than 50% win rate someone else would have to have a lower than 50% winrate

Well timed tech switch there!
Although I was a bit surprised that Tempest didn't have any detection even though he knew there were Hydras all over the place.

Tempest's zealots were just plain speed-zealot. Manlots win games; and Tempest won nothing with those. Any worse, and they would've been Holots.

Cholera has a mancrush on Reach. Reach is a solid player, but by no means S-Class.
Cholera just has posters of the guy over his bed. ^_^
CygnusSC 3 years ago 6
he doesn't have posters of him because of his skill... he has them because he's a hunk who saves people while fighting for the army <3
