If only we could replace gypsum drywall with this product, in the US! I detest using that crap.

To be sure, any attemp to import to the US of A would meet very stiff opposition from certain lobbys (corporate political interests, for those of you who may not know how things work (!) here in the land of the "free".)

It is sad that in spite of these environment friendly products freely available in the market - the money-bag lobby forces the buyer not to go in for these products.
Indian politics is going the same way - big millionaire business tycoons get elected to the parliament and then make money - to hell with the environment.

No answer to that question, but I simply go under the radar, when it comes to dealing with overbearing pocket-dictators.
If it were in the realm of being possible, I would leave the U.S. And, yes, I know the
damgers of being a US citizen abroad, that is why I say 'if'.

good. cos I see similar projects in malaysia. they are also using rice husk + plastic ... to create board,check out supertimber.
I wonder how is the moisture retention and the failure load and the tensile strength is for such rice husk particle.
