I got a 1991 blazer with true duals and flowmaster 40s, sounds almost identical, nice sound.

Do you think the super 40 would sounds pretty close if not identical to the 40 series? Im thinking of getting a super 40 for my GMC 1500 4.3. I have heard the interior resonance is different, but Im not sure about the exterior. Youre truck sounds awesome man :)

@DellMan94 Hey man, Yeah I dont there would be much difference. Maybe a lil quieter on the inside. Havent heard one personally so dont want to say go for it. Just keeping looking and Im sure youll find someone with the super. Good luck and thanks for the comment

@urx44 They are 2.5 in. pipes. SI/DO catback. With chrome tips.  other than that its stock. And its the flowmaster 40 series

wow this sounds so nice and mean. Im jealous ha. I dont understand my truck at all. Do you have all new pipes after your cats and before your cats? For my S10 4.3 vortec, i have flowmaster 40's on them and they doesnt sound anything like yours. Any tips?

@rickpat26 Yeah its all 2.5 in. piping after the cat which leads into the flowmaster and then comes out the end in duels. But other than the there is nothing else done to it

@IAteSomeCorn Thanks man I appreciate it. Yeah this truck got totaled a few weeks ago. But it sounded a hundred times better than that in real life. Camera i was using wasnt even a camcorder so it distorted the sound even more. Yours should sound pretty similar if not just about the same. Send me a link if you put a video of yours up. I know what you mean i had a hard time getting the video of my van. And my truck is damn near impossible to video because its so loud
