I would join or sweep the garage floor or change strings on his guitar- guess I may be wearing the inside out .

Whereas i agree with Nick was fantastic and even came to the local pub for a pint and chat afterwards. as a lifeling fan of Floyd and Cars - this was a great day all round....i suspect Jaguar was a little `jealous of either me or Nick or maybe both

geniunley nice guy, more than capable drummer who has played with them throughout amd is also fortunate to have a car collection that most people would love to possess.

As much as I like Floyd, Nick Mason is the antithesis of the rest of the band, all he does is show his multimillion dollar hobby instead of doing what Gilmour and Waters do, which is great music. We all know they are filthy rich, but with Mason is always about cars and more cars. Why doesn't the other members show their exorbitant life style? Not even the deceased R. Wright was like this. Could that be the reason he is not invited to play with the other members?

@jaguar2 What garbage. Nick Mason released one album in the 80's that was poorly received, so it's not like he could launch a world tour himself if he wanted to. Not sure if you're aware, but drummer's solo albums aren't exactly high sellers! Nor are drummers the one to decide if Pink Floyd regroups and tours. Nick does what he does and enjoys his hobby. Everyone I have heard from that has met Nick says that he is as gracious, humble and down to earth as one can be.

yeah, nick had a great story on this one....

apparently a week or so earlier on Jaques was driving the car at the Goodwood Festival of speed. also pretty chocked up at the prospect of driving his dads famous car.

also not there was an andretti car there and that mcclaren was swapped with ron dennis for a mcclaren that nick had and he wanted. bit like swapping sports cards in the playground only more expensive!
