  • No way the wee strom is better off road for sure

  • what`s the deal with that one statement of the dude thats been fired????

  • How comfortable would this bike be for a tourer...say a several thousand mile tour.

  • @pavelow235 I owned a '07 Versys, and took the bike on a 4500km run. All stock gearing, tires, seat, etc, used the Givi hard bags with a tailpack bag. My first bike, and didn't have any issues or problems on the trip. Exceded US hwy speeds, handled well in the rain. I would rec. one for a day to day drive, AND a tourer. Hope this helps.

  • at :17 that front tire starts liftin

  • 4:08 Sunglasses + dark shield = muthafacking cool. Good review, tho. I'm really hoping to trade my old bike in for a versys.

  • Seems odd this rider puts his foot down on like every tight corner...

  • @ScourgeDCP if he put his foot down on every corner he'd either change gear or hit his break, which he doesn't appear to be doing. I'm thinking you don't ride?

  • @pilsberry23 I'm thinking you didn't understand my comment.

  • @pilsberry23 He's taking his foot off of the peg completely....heh.

  • @ScourgeDCP It's the Motard Style. Super motard can keep up with sport bike easily.

  • Is he drifting at 3:37?

  • Yes, I think you're right.

  • I'm 5'6'', and this bike is not for me.

  • At 5'6", few are.

  • @batmodem sure is

  • Is this bike comfortable for someone 6' and with long legs?

  • haha the camera man waves

  • einai to kalitero mixanaki. auto ksero ego, tora ti lete eseis sta arxidia mou to grafo!!! ante malakes

  • not as good as a triumph tiger!

  • Half the price of a Triumph Tiger - and better looking. This coming from a Triumph rider.

  • damm well thanks for heads up,i'm gonna have to get a test drive!!!

  • What comparision?? Tiger 3 cylinder, 1100cc, european bike, ............

  • I like a shuttle !!!

  • v-storm not fast as versys...v storm is just for a man who want to go to his job!

  • Ive had this machine for a year now and I love it. There are aftermarket products available such as a lowering kit for shorter riders. I outfited mine with a Two Brothers racing slip on and Juice Box and it really feels more like a sport bike capable of keeping up with the best of them.

  • I personally like VStrom more than the Versys..

  • It looks so cool and retro, looks like a 1970's bike.

The 09 black is the one i'd like, but the 08 blue looks retro and cool and would be my 2nd choice.

    Excellent bike :D

  • my only problem with the versys is that the engine has NO PULL from 75 mph onward...maybe 80 mph onward.

  • Comment removed

  • Ha - they sped up some of the riding footage in editing!

  • thats becasue all of their tester cant ride for shit/

  • I think the Versys is my next bike.

My current bike is a KTM duke ll. It is a simple beast, but I love it.

  • just put 600 miles on my new red versys. it could be the best all around bike ever built.

  • i have to choose Versys or V-strom

  • versys .. just cause of the design and the cheaper stuff

  • i have one too got 2 months ago faboulous bike my colour is candy lime green with black rims

  • Putting the foot down is a dirt/supermoto thing.

I have this bike and it's fantastic, definitely one of the best bikes I have ever owned.

  • What is wrong with this guy? He keeps putting his foot down like a total idiot. He is also riding way too close to the yellow line. Either this guy is trying to kill himself or he has way too little experience to review a motorcycle with any authority.

  • Yeah, lol, that foot thing is strange! Maybe the rider has a supermoto background?

  • I realize you don't want to be putting your foot down like that on pavement...but, by the same token, isn't that accepted style on dirt? Like fiddy says said...maybe he has a supermoto background (old habits are tough to break)? Otherwise...It's a good review. I'm glad to hear a personal real world opinion for once, not just a reading of the tech specs....I found it very helpful.

  • I must say, I don't ride yet, but with respect to the "too close to the yellow line" thing: he is probably on a closed course, so he has some freedom to move around.

  • 3:58 -> it`s an AGUSTA...

  • gracias
