Thanks soooo much!!! #1 best fondant recipe!! Ur just the fondant Goddess!!! Lol! It turned out great!!! Its my first time trying to make it and it came out perfect!
A tip- if its too sticky and you feel like you're doing it wrong and just wanna give up, dont throw it away! Rub some crisco all over your hands and keep goinf until you're done! :)
Anyway!! Thanks for the video! My babygirl's birthday is today and her party will be in 2 weeks! Fondant is ready!!! Yayyyy!
Just made this with a twist use a PASTA maker or a Bread machine. I used my pasta maker. After I buttered the parts so they would not stick, I dumped mellows and sugar. Took only minutes and no mess. Clean up was so fast.

Thanks for the tutuorial - nice tip on stretching of the fondant to check it's pliability - I'm a cake making novice so any tips are always very helpfull. I'm glad I'm not the only one that creates icing clouds lol - the first time I used the stuff I opened the packaging with a little too much excitement and was covered in a thin layer of the white stuff not to mention the sneeze factor.
---------------Hi I really want to make this fondant tomorrow but when you emptied it onto the counter did you put it on the other 2 cups of icing sugar?? You are really god and you have easie recipes!!------------------
I loved your tutorial. It was easy and I didn't have to have the mixer they use in most others I have watched. My daughter and I are going to get the ingredients now. Thank you so much.
@youknow740 Thank you SO much for the comment and compliment! :) It means a lot! I hope you and your daughter had a fun time making fondant. It can be a little tricky to work with, but I know you'll get the hang of it. :)
@SidaLou19 I've never tried using flour -- I would be a little concerned that it would change the consistency of the fondant, along with taste. Cornstarch could be used as a substitute for powdered sugar, but I'm not 100% sure about flour. -- Please let me know how it turns out.
Thank you so much for watching and commenting @JessiiieeeJayyy ♥ I personally have never used marshmallow fluff to make fondant icing. I have however heard of others using it! :) You could use one 16oz container of marshmallow fluff and mix in about 6 to 8 cups of powdered sugar. That would give you the right consistency. I'm sure the fluff would make the fondant taste great!
One tip, i noticed you said try to let it not stick to the table, its easier to clean your table and then rub crisco on it, this keeps the fondant from sticking! awesome tutorial!!!:D
