ya um i have a chinese water dragon too and comparing the way these dragons are breathing to the way my dragon breathes every day ya they are not having ANY difficulties breathing at all and I doubt that if there was actual physical harm being done to these dragons someone would have done something about it considering they have been all over the internet..... all this is is just some well behaved water dragons with some excellent training
@AnoleGuy while you have great concern don't get so defensive! This guy is a profesional. He wouldn't do this if it were bad for them. Plus, if they didn't want to do this they would roll over and run! So open your mind!

How long do your lizards live for?
This is totally unnatural and also dangerous for their health. Did you know that the reason they are sitting there like that seemingly happily is because they are having difficulty breathing?
Why don't you just turn them over some more and let them suffocate? I hope someone reports you and you get banned from keeping these animals. It's people like you that give us serious keepers a bad name.
Hello AnoleGuy, it seems that you have a love and concern for lizards, which is good, but you are sadly mistaken and swayed by false ideas, long time perpetuated by others about my lizards, claiming an inability to breathe when sitting in these poses.
They Certainly can and do breathe in a normal manner. The lizards are not stuck, they get up and walk around any time they like. When out in public, most people realize the lizards are alive, especially when they notice the lizards breathing
@HenryLizardlover Yes, I do have a respect for these animals, which is why I treat them with the respect they deserve and not like living dolls to be played with.
Yes, they obviously are currently breathing, as they are not fully on their backs. Yet you seem to think that regularly depressing their respiratory functions, even a little is somehow perfectly acceptable? It isn't. These are living creatures, not toys for your or others amusement.
@TheAnoleGuy Hello again AnoleGuy. You can dislike the posing lizards as much as you like, but your idea about breathing problems and "depressing" is pure nonsense, I hear that idea once in a while but it's not true. The fact is that I've been doing this since 1982, I've had lizards laying flat on their back on a hammock for several hours some times, they are breathing in their normal manner, they are able to get up and do get up to walk around. There simply is no problem breathing.
@HenryLizardlover Whilst I refuse to think that it gives these lizards no discomfort, taking your word for it that they are in no physical discomfort at all - Why do you think it is even remotely acceptable to do this? Shall we get someone to stand you on your head for several hours a day for others amusement without your permission? These are living animals. Not dolls. You want something to play with, buy a barbie. How long you've been doing it for doesn't make it right.
@SamShackleford1 Are you actually going to back up that statement and show me proof of how I'm ignorant, or are you hoping to change what I know of lizard anatomy and respiratory function by thinking if you call me ignorant I will somehow miraculously believe you?
If it's the latter, I'm afraid you are much mistaken.
Now, if you would like to explain to me how I'm wrong that lizards do not have a diaphram and being held on their backs actually depresses their respiratory system that causes difficulty breathing which has potential to be fatal, then feel free to enlighten me.
@TheAnoleGuy Whatever you think about lizards and diaphragms does not change the simple fact that the lizards I work with show no signs of any suffocating or health problems. The lizards I work with have been doing this posing since they were babies up to old adults. A lizard that is suffocating as you claim does not have normal eye function, normal breathing function, does not move it's head around in the normal manner as my lizards surely are. You speak and judge what you don't know.
@TheAnoleGuy okay. These lizards do what they are doing right now in there own comfort. Henry doesn't do anything to them except when the lizards feel comfortable enough with thier surroundings they will position themselves.
@TheAnoleGuy I've been hearing the false ideas about my work with lizards since the early 1980's. People claim that I freeze or chill the lizards, they claim I drug the lizards, they claim I hypnotize the lizards, they claim the lizards have to be unhealthy to do this, they claim the lizards can't move because they can't breathe, these are all stupid false accusations. I've done this on live TV shows and recorded TV shows hundreds of times, shown all over the world, no harm to the lizards.
@TheAnoleGuy Look why do you make all of these false claims about the comfort of these lizards I have a beardie and I know that he hates this but he'd just flip himself back over however these water dragon appear to be under no physical discomfort they could easily flip over if they wanted but they are just happily enjoying a nice day and how can you call yourself a serious keeper when you just make wild accusations against another keeper with no evidence grow up!
