Came here because my brother's g/f told me about virtual idols doing live shows and sent me a link to this video. I expected to laugh my way through as I'm not a big fan of pop music or anime. And laugh I did. Then I hit replay. And again. And again. Been hitting replay for about 2 days now, while learning more about this movement called the Vocaloids. Very refreshing concept considering the pathetic state of the music industry (I'm looking at you, American Idol). Moar power to songwriters!

it is because they are a voice program and that is their design. All singers (real ones) have an earpiece or something so that they can hear the feedback over the sound of the stage and the musicn so they can sing properly. But in this case this is just the designers free license
