You have a choice to go with the original arranged version OR this version... If you don't like it you can always switch... Personally, its time they did something brand new.. It's risky but even if this new soundtrack goes down like buckley's to hardcore fans of the game.. The game in its entirety.. is simply a masterpiece. This soundtrack for me just adds character.

People are calling this song 'alright'....I think they're just salty over the confusion of the other remixes, because this particular one is actually great, if not even better than the original. It still kept the urban style people loved about the original ost and just updated it rather than attempt to change the genre entirely.

@KingPiccolo08 I read that interview. His goal was to strip the hip-hop/drum 'n bass/rock-influence out of the music and change it to poorly done elcectronica in an attempt to "modernize" the music and fit his own tastes. And he thinks he did a good job.

People on YouTube have done a WAY better job doing remixes for Third Strike's music, and most, if not all of them haven't been a game music composer for 11 years like Simon Viklund. That's a little sad.

Hmm...didn't we had this same argument when Capcom let OC Remix do ST HDR? To be honest, it's not that it isn't good, it's just doesn't fit Ibuki, the vibe of Third Strike and it's too repetitive. Why don't they ever hire actual fans of the games, like UVGM or Desk, rather than keep to professionals that can't deliver or just don't care.
