  • I love London ! :)

  • I will keep asking these questions till i get a clear idea if i can do what I would like when i get to Amsterdam. I want to then take a train to Nice France, but I would need a list of "Stops" so i can get out and stay a while, in different towns, as I travel towards my final destination. Is the such a list?

  • Eurostar goes from London under the sea to Paris in no time!! St Pancras new Eurostar terminal is a work of art - and has the longest champagne bar in the world - with the best French champagnes!

  • In the future, Eurostar will have a rival - the ICE (InterCityExpress) of Deutsche Bahn - the new train link between the continent and the UK will go from Frankfurt and Cologne to St. Pancras Station in London!

  • Hit the Acceleration.. Approching the Spur Link to change to DC Current towards London.. Accelerate again on 3rd Rail up to 100mph to London Waterloo..

  • well I have been to durham in england and can say its one of the most beautiful city in europe so ppl who say england is ugly need to get out more

  • Is that an old video where the Eurostar train took the old rout over Kent and not the 186 mph High Speed One.

  • @hallo771 Apparently so. The HS1 line, still under construction, can be seen branching away shortly before the switch from overhead to 3rd-rail collection.

  • It's not ugly at all

  • transmite la espectativa de la llegada a un lugar descocido, y te transporta al sitio, muy bueno

  • Yes, just like Los Angeles a big sprawling mess without the weather, bien sur ;-)

  • actually mate, england has some wonderful views and is very beutiful it is just un forteunt that you got the ugly side of it. England is a beutiful contrty

  • No- England is beautiful. It's just a grey day. But thanks to all the rain England is so green lol.

  • Each time i took the eurostar it was a grey day , but england is beatiful .

  • I wish I was on this Train. I have taken this route many times, but years ago.Everyone is complaining about the speed...I loved the Trains where you could open the Windows.

What ever happend to just relaxing , the world is going nuts. hurry hurry.Anyway thanks for this Video...:-) Giselle

  • You should come to Poland where 110 km/h is maximum speed on rail.

  • What about Ukraine or Russia in this case?! :-))

  • In India average speed of a train is 80-90km/h and Rajdhani & Shatapdi run @ 140km/h

  • Good vids, highlighting the fact that the french built there high speed track even before the completion of the channel tunnel and that up until a few days ago the Eurostar had to snake its way through 3rd rail to Waterloo.

  • mmmm ;-/

  • The bit where it speeds thru France is good but people were getting really agitated about how slow and bumpy it was between Kent and Waterloo Station, it felt like it might come to a total stop round Brixton and we would be asked to find an alternative route to complete the trip. eg, the bus.

  • WHEN CTRL comes we will ahve no bumpy or slow bits it will be fast all through.

  • Hi, kenconnor2006: Yes, UK has become the lame member when it comes to public infrastructure (that's mostly to do with the evils of the Von Hayek-Friedman monetarist policy of privatization: this virus is now also infecting France), but with all due respect & kudos to the UK, the high-speed line is now open all the way to St. Pancras.

  • kenconnor2006: You can see the third rail power pick-up in this video; how archaic is that?! But, the dedicated High-Speed line from Paris-Nord to St. Pancras is welded, continuous rail with wide radii, sprung reinforced concrete ties (sleepers), camber which allows continuous high-speed running, and overhead catenary! At last! I hope this bodes well for the whole British railway system!

  • Great Video. It gets the essence of the journey. strange ?? why ??

  • Wow. Strange video.
