Por lo menos hace el esfuerzo. Ya no llega a las notas y los musicos no son los mismos, pero quien llega a esa edad y canta casi igual? la mayoria, muertos.
Fat mother fucker should stick to his new stuff, he's just debasing their best song with his out of tuneness and slobbery fatness. Fuck 'im, long live Marr!
The band don't have the talent to play this like it should be played i.e. Johnny Marr - so they try to pass if off as simply a 'rockier' version to mask their inefficiency.
This song has always had a special place in my heart, since it served as my introduction to the brilliance that was the Smiths. But without Marr's jangle-guitar to compliment Moz's voice, it's just not the same. The original's guitar sound only added to the beautiful melancholy of the lyrics. This here just sounds like dumbed-down riff-rock. God how I wish he would make another album with Johnny Marr..
Isn't the point of moving on and being an individual artist is too escape the past . people don't like a song like this without marrs delicate and brillant jangly touches to the guitar . But since these lyrics are morrisseys and the vocals are his ...A change of pace works for him . Morrisseys image has changed ..So now the music has more of a rough kick in the balls now .
@MrFedde94 Yeah, kling to the old days. Time passes by, deal with it, son... Listen to The Smiths version, i am pretty sure you got it somewhere in your collection. And everything is fine. Cheers
@MrFedde94 Disagreed!!! Really sounded better on 80's, but this performance is really cool, and Morrissey's voice is really amazing considering his age
@MrFedde94 Dude, give him a break...he's like 52! It has been 30 years....I think he had done it very well, he sounded like Morrissey, just a bit older. When people age, so does their voice. I will agree, the band was in a hurry, the tempo was way too fast, that even Morrissey had to skip a lyric or two...and he did look a bit frustrated at them as well.

MORRISSEY reminds me more of a man doing kareoke in his old age rather than a pop icon

It is a lot more rock than pop.Verdict: Guilty of killing his own song and failing to surpass The Smiths' version
