Born in 1994, granted didn't experiance anything before the late 90's...

This past decade was fucking terrible. I hate the movies, TV shows, but the music still isn't just that bad YET... some pop music is still catchy, Lady Gaga is good for pop music, but no Myspace rappers like Soja boy and Lil' Wayne, I do like Eminem, Pac, the rest is before 00'.

Just not enjoying it. The damn world is being globalized, and royally screwed by a few select people.

I'm not falling for it, it sucked.

I think it depends on how you define hell. In referring to dystopian novels I'd say the 20's-70's were more like a "1984" oppressive type hell of fascism and communism. The recent decades were more like a "Brave New World" type of hell of excess, decadence and quiet desperation. I think it's up to you to decide which one was worse, but personally I think it's only the beginning

I think the worst part of the decade is the fact that no-tallent musicians have taken over the industry in every genre of music. That is my excuse of downloading pirated music and not paying. There is a slight chance that the music industry will collapse and some good music will emerge in the mainstream. Or is it just to take music for free? Oh, the second ;-)

The 80's and 90's were pretty good and this decade sucks compared to them for sure, but i wouldn't trade the 2000's for the 70's, 60's, 50's 40's 30's 10's or the 1900's for anything.

I might for the 20's, yea they banned alcohol and the FBI and federal government exploded to combat those evil alcoholic monsters in the begining of the drug wars, but other than that the 20's were pretty good.

I too used to always think that it would start with 1 and end with 10, like a mathematical set of 10, but with decades it starts with 0 and ends with 9.

The 20s will end in the year 2030, not the year 2031. Same with the 00's ending with 2010, not 2011.

The millennium really confused this by not being "New" until 2011.

Strange that decades begin with 0, but millenniums begin with 1.

So year 0 was the beginning of the first decade, but not the start of the new millennium, hmm.
