  • ;') Without words...

  • The Clancy brothers brought Irish music to the fore and paved the way for all who followed -- thank you for sharing this

  • thank you for this - many good memories

  • rest in peace liam at rest with your brothers

  • Liam, the last of the true Irish Troubadours, this is very moving, thanks Mike, so special. The Coolin on the mouth organ moved me to tears. We grew up with The Clancys and Tommy - and carried them with us when we left Ireland for London, sought out old tapes in Shepherds Bush Market, so many fond memories and stories entwined Liam, a true Irish Troubadour of story, music and song, farewell, raise a glass to you, will still carry you with me, along. xx

  • Well done Mike. Hope this lost Irish talent will be taken over by the young generation.

  • He Left very Fond Memories --

    To many -

  • I saw Liam Clancy at the ICON's festival near Boston 2 years ago. He was in great form. Sad, much too early. RIP Liam.

  • Really cool group of lads. Just heard about Liam now.

  • so sad.....who now will take the place of these fine singers with all the sweetness of their delivery and connection with the feelings of those around them?...im struck by the hand holding, and sentimentality of the grown men here....we have ended a grand era....RIP

  • RIP Liam. May his music and memory live on forever. Excellent tribute...
