Buster Keaton was a genius as a writer, actor, director and cinematographer. And what a beautiful face with those expressive eyes that said what words coudnt.
I love old television. It was great, clean and so much fun. But more so, it was a family thing. We lived for Mickey Mouse and American Bandstand when it aired in Philadelphia. All the cable in the world cannot replace those happy times! Thanks for the upload.
This originally aired on December 8, 1949, and was, in fact, Buster's "national" TV debut; however, because there was no "coaxial cable" as yet to enable simultaneous "coast-to-coast" telecasts (there wouldn't be, until September 1951), this originally aired live on the West Coast on December 8th, and rebroadcast via kinescope film on CBS' East Coast affiliates on December 22nd..
Buster Keaton must have been in Sunset Blvd, the same year??

They both died the same year 1966. RIP Buster Keaton 1895-1966 and Ed Wynn 1886-1966.

Buster Keaton was perhaps the only man in history who could totally rock a combover. (As evidenced by 1:14-1:16)
