Being a grumpy old sod, I'm not all that keen on the Harry Potter thing, but I think the vfx for Aragog were very real, and he's quite a scary character at that!

@wtfr3nch Actually.....No. Yes Lord of the rings is Epic and i love it, but i have to say. Aragog would actually win. Umm Look at his size,We have no idea how fast he is. and in harry potter those spiders have a Venom that can Kill You. Shelob only Paralyzes. Besides, Shelob has to use that spike on her abdomen, Aragog has Fangs. I Think he over powers her. OH and look at all his hundreds of other ones. She has a chance but no much.

It was hard to see Aragog in the movie. But, since I'm sure most people would find a GIANT spider scary, I'm guessing that that was for the best, right?
