  • when dan quinn showed up a little bit late to notre dame, when he had a suit and gold shoes on, and was gonna show you his knockout sprinter speed, that made black kids from chicago pop like popcorn and made a grandpa in a truck say "thats the fastest thing ive ever seen white or black", trust and believe homie, you're gonna get your cock cut off in movies.

  • Time for your nap, Lou.

  • @lookinok

prob set the record for getting the most teams on probation too. most every school he coached at he left quickly before the NCAA cracked down on the infractions that he incurred there.

  • Lou: "Well, let's face it . . . WE SUCK! The entire country is laughing at us. We're an Irish joke. We just keep on losing, and we keep on boasting about some shit that happened nearly a hundred years ago. The only folks that like us are the Irish and the Catholics. That's about it. We load up our schedule with at least six creampuffs every year, so we can TRY to make it to a bowl game. Then we get BLOWN OUT because the other teams are so much better. Then it's time for the excuses. We are ND."

  • @ndfaithful if a USC alum give you money or let's you borrow a car, don't do it! It's illegal! NCAA will sanction you! We are SC

  • he is creepy looking

  • If Father McFeelgood invites you to his room, DON'T GO!!! Run home and tell your Mom. We are ND.

  • @ndfaithful i've been drinking and your quote gave me a great laugh

  • He looks and sounds a lot like Garth Algar... you know, Wayne's friend on Wayne's World?

  • lou holtz! why couldn't i been around when he was coaching!? so far, as long as i've been living, we've had coaches who made it clear that losing isn't acceptable, but in the end, they're mediocre every year!

  • Lou Holtz was beloved on campus and would even participate in the annual Bookstore basketball tournament.

  • i been watching ND for all my life, pisses me off to no end to have to say "oh theyl be good next year" every year, Fuck.

Dear satan, would it kill you to give the irish a fuckin heisman winning national championship season?

  • it must have been the addition to Notre Dame Stadium that blocked the view of Touchdown Jesus. I feel your pain

  • Dear Cloud4527,

Actually, I'm not supposed to return and wage my unholy war with God until Notre Dame wins another Heisman and/or National Championship. Which I'm not planning on doing for the next few millenia.

    Regards,

    Satan

  • Dear R*erNation636

your not Satan, your just some pussy

    Best Regards,

    Cloud4527

P.S. - the Raiders suck, go chargers

  • Dear Cloud4527

It's spelled YOU'RE. But it's OK, I understand, you're the prestigous night shift manager at McDonald's who never had time for school. It's cool.

    PS

    Irish suck. Go Trojans.

  • i sell tv's at best buy, going to school and i dont give a fuck

    raiders suck

  • Irish are worse. Except that they got "Dr." Holtz on TV trying to make the Whinin' Irish faithful that they're actually great.

  • yea so, i got my first nursing degree from there, plus i cant see usc football players maintaining a 3.4 gpa like all ND athletes do, doing actual tough classes not that ballroom dancing/rock climbing bullshit usc and other top teams football players do. i was on the 03-04 practice squad, even we had to maintain the 3.4 minimum. usc players that dont go pro end up at a gas station or mcdonalds, ours end up as teachers, docters, lawyers, contractors. but yea usc do kinda kickass in football.

  • @cloud4527

PSS The best Fighting Irish player under Holtz and overall best WR in ND history dominated the superbowless chargers for many years all while wearing the silver and black. You will see him in canton next year.

  • @bucnomore11

Agree to the nth power. Can make a case for Casper being the best NFL tight end ever, too. Just watch some old Raider game films, he's fearsome.

I have a feeling that Kelly is on the right track. If ND can get the kind of defensive secondary that Lou's teams had, the sky's the limit. Go Irish!

  • @sealevelattitude speaking of Raider-Irish connection. George Atkinson's twins both committed to Notre Dame.

I was hoping and praying Jon Gruden would of been the next Irish coach, but I like Kelly so far. He's everything Weis was not.

  • This speech is epic. Your argument/logic, however, is not.

  • USC, is awesom,e I LOVE USC, and Notre Dame is where pieple go to get fucekd by preists. FIGHT ON!!!

  • Pieple?

  • @R8erNation636 Well you just proved one thing, like all U.S.C. fan's you have NO class!!!!

  • @R8erNation636 <-- I think this is Lance Kiffin in disguise.

  • @R8erNation636 U$C is where people go to lose to teams that lose to Tulsa.

  • @R8erNation636 Easy to win heismans lately when you pay off your players... Too bad only 1 will be taken away.

  • that last coach at ND to wake up the echoes.

  • Yes the did lose this game....and then... after 7 years Michigan figured out how to beat them again. Go Irish!!

  • YES

  • BTW they LOST this game to Michigan.

  • People People People - look beyond the school and listen to the message

  • I have a deep sense of hatred for the Irish, and I'm not really sure why. I'm not overly non-conforming, but I really think the reason I hate ND so much, is because everyone else seems to like them.... I guess bearing that in mind it would be difficult to explain why I am a Wolverine...

  • Lou, you know you're full of shit, right?

  • His fuckin head is narrow....GO HUSKERS!!!!

  • your narrow

  • GO BUCKEYES!!!!!!

  • I think beating Michigan saved Weiss's job this year...fuck you haters, you're teams wish you had the legacy of the Irish!

Go Irish! Onward to Victory in the Hawaii Bowl X-Mas Eve!

  • Hahaha, Notre Dame sucks.

  • Syracuse 24 - ND 23.

We are ND. We throw snowballs at our own players.

  • JB5goirish, you're wrong on one part of your comment. Coach Holtz didn't restore pride. He brought back winning to the ND program. Pride, dignity, honor and tradition will never be lacking at ND. I've gone to games all over this great nation but NOTHING and I meant NOTHING can compare to a football weekend at South Bend. Whether one is a ND fan or hater, no athleic program has the tradition and heritage of the Irish, everyone else is just pretenders.

  • Point taken, brewslc. I agree with that.

  • I honestly can't stand the Irish. But at the same time how can someone not think Lou Holtz is one of the best coaches of our time?

  • TO HELL WITH MICHIGAN GO IRISH!!!

  • I love the irish! you are exactly right coachfb18

    the hell with michigan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • the hell with michigan!

    go irish!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Can Weis talk like this.....

  • If Charlie Weis can't get it done, Notre Dame should go after Skip Holtz. Skip Holtz has good coaching experience. If Skip came to Notre Dame and did well, it would be like the Thompsons at Georgetown all over again. Anyone agree with me?

  • I would say that would be a great idea, but let's not jump the gun too early. Charlie is an alumni, he understands whats expected, we'll be fine. Patience, that's what separates us from other schools.

  • patience? where was that "patience' with ty willingham?

  • ty didnt have 4 superbowl rings

  • Good point by you.

  • Would any of you call Lou Holtz an all-time great coach in College Football?

  • Absolutely....

  • Wouldn't call him anything less.

  • yes, a great coach!!

  • I would, he turned more teams around to more success than any other coach. He took 6 teams to bowl games(record), 4 teams to finish in the top 20(record), is a helluva guy and has the best pep talks I have ever heard.

  • Horrible coaches don't win National Championships.

  • Winning bowl games is screwing over programs?

  • ^^ see Danny Ford

  • Restoring pride to a storied program. Yep, bohica3182, that sure sounds like a horrible, horrible coach to me!

  • now lets go beat Army

  • Thanks for the laugh. Holtz's teams played historically difficult schedules. It wasn't uncommon for them to play 3-4 top ten teams a year and usually end up on top. Oh, and ND has played Army 7 times in the last 30 years. Nice attempt at ESPN revisionist history, though.

  • He was close to Rockne in speeches and winning.
