Rugrats move over and make way for Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm, Scooby, the Banana Splits, Josie and the Pussycats, the Jackson 5ive, and all the other bubblegum groups of the 60's and 70's, LOL, LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL =)
One of the first song's my Momma taught my sister Donna and myself. We could play it on the piano and sing it without the muscial score. We were so pround
Well its really two kids who sang it for Hanna and Barbara durin Tapin paid 500 dollars each record it and use pebbles n bambam as singin it....i forget there names some one will know.....
I loved this song as a kid, and still enjoy it as an adult. Too bad that some want to focus on the 'devil' part and infer their negativity regarding Christianity. If one drops the D from devil you are left with 'evil' which is not just a Christian problem. Any religion or non-religion recognizes that evil exists. I feel the song is suggesting we not let evil in our hearts or thoughts. As rational beings we recognize BAD things happen sometimes caused by bad/evil people. JMO. Still like the song.
Twisted song about the Devil.. I loved the song as a child. As an adult, I think it is reprehensible to sneak christo propaganda into children's programing..
@axisva - actually, they didn't. This is a dub done much later with the original Gospel recording. Hanna-Barbara licensed the rights and rewrote the lyrics. The original lyrics in this episode were all about raising a child and parenting. The chorus lyrics were, "Let the sun shine in / Take it with a grin / Mommies never lose / And daddies never win".
just warms the heart with a good advice and warning. wow, never knew old cartoons, well, cartoons in general, could do this! You'd never see or hear this these days though, that I am sure of!
thanks everybody that is watching this wonderful video,
as lawrence welk would say, Always keep a song in your heart,
---yes this Pebbles and Bamm Bamm, Let The Sunshine in,,
thats one of the best songs ever made, thank you fred flintston and barney rubble for your wonderful children singing this song here on YouTube, LETSEEITPLEASE
@kingkong2044 Maybe I've had too much cactus juice, but your comment made me shed a tear. I was just watching the Judo Lessons episode tonight with my sister (again}, and we were laughing harder than we did 40+ years ago.
@LandondeeL Uhhhhh, etta SETTERAAAHH, etta SETTERAAAHHH... OK, listening to this song is giving me the creeps. I don't remember any mention of the ****ing devil. How did all those liberals in 1960's Hollyrock let this one slide?
Happy birthday, Pebbles!! Born February 22,1963. My, how the years have flown!

@axisva Too bad becoming an "ADULT" for you also meant becoming over sensitive, cynical and just plain boring.
