There is insurance that must be carried by the shop/owner of the dyno. If they do not have that insurance the owner of the shop would be sued and need to pay. Even signing off on liability by the customer would not hold up in court. The issue here had no thing to do with the manufacturer of dyno would not be helf liable, obviously you don't have your waste gate aimed at your hold downs if they can be melted. That's operator error.
