Makes me sad to read that your golden passed. She looked like a wonderfully fun and balanced mate. I love all retrievers, but goldens are my favorite. My dog is a terrier/retriever mix. He has the color and brains of a golden but the wiry hair of a terrier, complete with a goatee. :-)

Our now 12 year old Golden, Sugar, was just chillin' out with us on a Lake. She loves to swim and just pulled herself on this and hung out for the better half of a day.

@connaughtman Yeah!!! That is reeaaalllly good! Mine passed away 4 weeks ago. She was 7, almost 8. 8 on September 11

@connaughtman I'm sorry for your loss. We just lost our golden in April. One of the hardest things I've had to do. Mine made it until 13 too. They're amazing dogs :)

@connaughtman :( this reminds me of my big lab mix, Max... He loved water so much. He probably would be doing less of the chilling and more tossing balls for himself cuz he was a crazy bastard but he died at 13 and a half, much like your dog.
