If u consider what usually happens when they try to make movie based on game...i know plenty of such movies which r far more worse...this is quite good B class action movie trying to be *noir* at some point. If u liked the game, its not competely wasted time go see this.

This song is nice. I like the ending credits of MP, now most of action films has a nice song included and cool look. But Max Payne movie is bad, even not as a video game adaptation. I was really disappointed when I left the theater.

Hardcore fan of the game and I thought the movie was awesome! and for the people who hated it I mean come on you can't just fill the movie with action all over the place it would be a huge mess. It would be too repetitive and no good story. And I think the story was still intact but don't look at small details like what lupino's hair style was just go with it to have fun seeing your video game hero on the big screen.

I am sick of fan boy hard core gamers, who bitch when a movie is based on a game, a unimportant game that you fan boys care so much about. I don't care if you fan boys hated the film, but you fan boys begin to excessively rant and exaggerate; it is annoying. If the movie has the exact plot of the game, that would be uncreative and pointless. How about you profane fan boys make your own movie based on the game, so we can see how much of a filmmaker you guys are.

I agree with you Risky, the movie was good, the acting was good, the game was good too, but you cannot put the amount of content present in an entire video game series into a 2 hour movie and do it justice. The film makers did an excellent job creating a motion-picture that was creative, entertaining, and not just a carbon copy of a story everyone who has played the game would have seen already. I loved the movie, and I'm a fan of the game... You don't hear me whining.

you know you can make a good point without repeating the same 2 words multipule times. anyway if you're going to make a movie and change lots of shit around you could at least do it right. it was a fine movie and all but the way they made it kind of made max payne boring and not something very interesting to watch. also if you don't like the comments why read them.

I personally really liked the movie a lot. It's my favorite video to film I've seen so far. I thought Max Payne had a great cast, beautiful cinematography, awesome special effects, dark New York atmosphere, sound effects and score. All the action scenes were very solid too. All movies have their flaws, I would say Max Payne only flaw was the film dragged for a moment but when the action did finally start it was all action from there and it was awesome.

I thought the movie overall was a cool fun action film. My only issues was a slow pace at the beginning and lack of action. Yes it had action, and what was there was pretty cool, but I expected and wanted more action scenes. Or maybe longer action scenes. When Max stormed the Rag Na Rock, if there were like 15 henchmen there, that would of been a long gun fight.

Dummerweise wurde für den Film eine andere Version verwendet. Marco Beltrami hat nämlich noch Streicher hinzugefügt, was sich noch einmal wesentlich besser anhört als diese Version. Vermutlich wird es die Filmversion aber niemals offiziell geben.
