Some thoughts: Advertising yourself to a, say, book publisher and advertising yourself to a woman is pretty much the same thing. Goes down to stereotypes. The human mind feels safer etc. around acquaintances which it can define with the help of previously absorbed patterns (called "schemes" in psychology). Certain avatars/dresscodes then obviously also appeal to a generic woman's power-radar and/or to her masochistic fantasies - which is half the battle. Stay critical about your dough, brothers.

Your totally right, and I agree.  If I were starting game tomorrow I'd learn Mystery Method over RSD any day. MM just fucking pwns. If you don't mind the high cost, the method is amazing... it's just the genius behind it all that has changed.

I was debating this same thing to myself awhile ago, when I thought a hypothetical situation: "If I was a 25 year old morbidly obese shy dungeons and dragons nerd, what type of game would work better for me, natural or canned?"

Well, you cant tell somebody with zero people skills to go and "be themselves" and "be natural." At least canned routines would get him somewhere.

There was a time where he was actively contributing to the community; before he pretty much sold out he was an altristic person. Sure if you come up with the perfect formula for courtship then there's really no need to rework your method, and I agree. Good for him for reaping his success, but really most of his newer products like MoM are 100% marketing and no quality.
