There is a ton of info about this place on eastghost . com and also on carantics . com -- Documents show it was at least partly horrific, CIA LSD involvement, and apparent instances of purposeful demonic possession. Read the documentation, or you won't believe it.

I'm pretty sure this building was declared historical. There was a good size neighborhood being built on the grounds around it. Since the building could not be torn down, they were only allowed to build condos inside it. I know that would have been expensive to do. And then it burns down, hmmmmmm.
