@Bassbait Early on, when Slayer´s future was on wavy waters, Kerry King joined Megadeth´s as their first 2nd guitar player and played the first 5 touring dates that Megadeth EVER PLAYED. Even though he didn´t wrote any material, Mustaine was so impressed by his playing that, when Dave asked him to be a full time member of the band, he declined to dedicate full time on Slayer. So, you´re the one who needs to learn more and shut up.

Who ever said Lars and James Hetfield created thrash metal is wrong. Dave Mustaine, Kerry King, and Cliff Burton really planted the seeds in that whole movement. Metallica was stealing Dave's shit all the way up to Master of Puppets. After Cliff died they could hardly keep a thrash metal sound. Don't get me wrong tho. The Metallica black album is fucken awesome! But it ain't even close to thrash metal.

I'm pretty sure they only played the Peace Sells material at the first few shows and then didn't do them again until the album was released.
