When a cat rubs up against your face, particularly the mouth area, it's not only a sign of trust (ie you are not going to bit them) but the ultimate show of affection.

I think I just died of cute. We have an orange tabby who is pretty lovey, but it's our Tuxedo girl who gets in your face with the nuzzles. I love cats <3
I've always found tabbies to be the most social of cats, with people anyway. Maybe it's just chance, but the bicolours and tortoiseshells I've owned/known have all been a little aloof.
My male cat does this every morning. My cat isn´t allowed to go in the bedroom. So he greets me every morning like "Oh my god. Where have you been? Why have you left me alone?" and he purrs loud like a motor
My cat looks somewhat like yours and he is also very affectionate... Most people would disagree with comparing cat color and temperament but from what I've experienced, I swear most yellow/orange cats are sweet hearts. (especially males)

I've read an article... although I don't remember all the details, something about how a certain chromosome causes cats to become calico, and that interacts with the males development, so if they do happen to be born, its usually stillborn or dies shortly after birth. :) Very interesting, you should look it up...

Our neighbour's cat is like that (she's adopted both families) She's a fretter! she'll chase you worriedly if you go out into the streets, and welcome you with lots of hear bumping when she sees you the first time in a day.
