I just called my congressman Pat Tiberi's office someone from his office told me that Pat wants to first look into just how the first part of the 7hundered Billion dollars were spent before moving on to the second half of the 7Billon. I was told that by some time next week he will have a more clear picture of the situation.I don't bother calling my senator Sherrod Brown because he is very liberal and there for a waste of my time.

To: computerpurple -- thanks for making your voice heard, but call ALL your elected officials! I'm a Republican so when I call my GOP officials, I point that out. When I call my Democratic officials I just state that I'm a constituent. They mostly just keep track of the number of calls for yay/nay... It does make a difference -- call! Thanks.

Interesting!! I DO believe that 80% of WE THE PEOPLE said Hell NO to the initial bail out. And the banks showed their appreciation by giving HUGE bonuses, buying foreign "paper" and giving Golden Parachutes to worthless CEO's etc. Have NO clue where the first $350 BILLION went. I say NOOOOOOOOOO to the second phase and ANY future bail outs. Do you hear that Barry?
