Now if only i could only find his song 'let me see your face' on youtube, that would be great. I only remember "you hide your face in the rocks, in the mountain of fear. Let me see your face (see your face) Let me hear your voice (hear your voice) Let me know you, for your face is lovely and your voice is sweet.
I saw you back at Brown University back in '72(?) Great concert! I remember you did an encore of "Be My Baby" which was a hoot. The Brown radio station was really behind you then and gave a lot of airtime to an (earlier) version of Avenging Annie (which I still prefer over your LP version). But both the LPs are great. Have to digitize them one of these days so I can hear more often. Lost track of you after that - Best wishes! pete
So great to see AP on the tube. He did produce one of my all time favourite LP's. It's great to find that he still sounds the same. There was a really nice electric concert from public radio that I'd love to hear again.
That's lovely, Andy. I just got the CD version of Fun In The First World the other day and it was good to hear it again, but this version of the song is even better! I like the slight change in the lyrics too. ~ DC
Thank you so much, Mr. Pratt...your voice is beautiful; your lyrics, penetrating; your music, tender and poignant. I've missed hearing your music. You first blessed me with "Avenging Annie," a song which I've never been able to get out of my mind and heart. The layers of vocals, instruments, lyrics and FX were absolutely outstanding--unlike anything else in 1973. You led the way for many, many artists--all of whom owe you an enormous debt of gratitude. Thank you so much, Mr. Pratt.

Desolate lyrics, a truly lonesome guitar, and then that unique falsetto ...

Nice to hear Andy back again. I've met him once in Ypres (Belgium), but that's a long story. I wish him all the best in his new life!
Be blessed!
