@248836b Perhaps not hundreds of millions, but there was between 80-100 million practitioners before the crackdown in 1999, today there are of course millions left even though they are severely persecuted.
@248836b I dont believe so there are probably still millions practicing underground, practitioners know that there are a lot more in China since we are in contact with them. But of course there are significantly less today then before 1999.
Though abroad there are many in Taiwan alone there are somewhat 600 000 practitioners.

@fightmate People who practice are taught through Zhuan Falun not to kill or harm anything intentionally- animals/people OR themselves. It is is the high moral standard of Falun Gong which elevates people. Falun Gong does not stop people going to the hospital. Mr Li has never stopped people from doing so. This is a personal choice and Mr Li has said this. Please find out about the practice by reading the book. you will find it the opposite of what you think.

FLG promotes through self cultivation you can cure illnesses and diseases, some people believe doing this qi-gong is all you need and fail to seek medical assistance and succumb to their illness. I have been practicing 1 year and I have many friends who do it. I have NEVER seen or acted in such a way as you have described! Stabbing? burning?? its like you are talking about something the opposite to Falun Dafa. Dafa promotes the opposite to what you say, truthfulness, compassion and tolerance are taken extremely seriously. Practitioners would NEVER kill.

@fightmate The self burning and the Killing/stabbing did happen but neither were carried out by real Falun Gong practitioners. Its important the facts are clarified as many believe these false videos and news reports..Please look up the film on youtube-false fire this clarifies the truth about the burning, regarding the stabbing well those people were clearly not mentally well and made to say things that they shouldn't. None of them said anything that a FLG practitioner would say. Peace

@fightmate I think that by editing any peice of film or sound recording people can achieve the effect of taking things said out of context which makes it sound strange to people who haven't heard the other parts of what is said..I think that what people want to beleive in shouldn't matter to others especially when they wholeheartedly beleive in Truthfulness, compassion and tolerance

@fightmate People who practice are taught through Zhuan Falun not to kill or harm anything intentionally- animals/people OR themselves. It is is the high moral standard of Falun Gong which elevates people. Falun Gong does not stop people going to the hospital. Mr Li has never stopped people from doing so. This is a personal choice and Mr Li has said this. Please find out about the practice by reading the book. you will find it the opposite of what you think.

Well, he claims to be higher than Jesus and Buddha and says in his book, "If I can't save you, nobody can." I think he's very full of himself and makes fantastic claims that have yet to be proven. I certainly don't believe he's the creator or the highest being but many Falun Dafa disciples do.

There is worship in Daoist beliefs and its not based on natural observations.

FLG promotes through self cultivation you can cure illnesses and diseases, some people believe doing this qi-gong is all you need and fail to seek medical assistance and succumb to their illness. I see LHZ as fake doctor that sells placebo cures to people. And if you believe that a man can destroy himself if he wants to it's fine.But i feel that it's society's responsibility to stop someone from hurting themselves, but that's my opinion.

But crack is different from lets say burgers. Once you are on crack it's extremely difficult to get off while you can put down a burger anytime. I think the government banned FLG because it was gaining so much momentum behind it combined with it's political agenda.
