  • This is probally the 10th time watched this...great job with the music score.

  • Nice Work shame you forgot Steve McQueen.....

  • Wow this such a brilliant video. I never knew some of these actors had died :(

  • Just can't get over how beautiful Vivien Leigh was @:58. Natural beauty my friends. =D

  • Wonderful job!!

  • forgot Lucille Ball "I Love Lucy" 1989.

  • A beautiful editing of characters remaining in the memory of each of us. Some of them have achieved a great fame. I really like the musical accompaniment!! Seeing the video seems to be present at the Oscars! Thank you for this reminder very touching!!

  • you forgot steve mcqueen

  • I hope someday somebody can do another video like this because so many have died since then and I can remeber a few who died before you uploaded this video like Brian Keith, Sebastian Cabot and little Buffy from Family affair. New ones would be Farrah Fawcett, Barbara Billingsley, Tom Bosley Patrick Swayze, Estelle Getty, Rue McClanahan, Bea Arthur, Dana Plato, Corey Haim and Gary Coleman. I know there are others like Michael Landon, May they rest in peace.

  • You did a great job putting this together and no way to include everyone, we have lost a lot of talent.. Please remember Elizabeth Montgomery, she was a very giving person...and so cute in Bewitched... but I know you could not have everyone.. we lost Lizzy, she liked to be called that...way too soon, like a lot of them on here. May they rest in peace with God. I hope we see them again....Thanks for your hard work putting this together..

  • Absoultey beautiful.....Sorry If I spellled anything wrong....

  • this is sad..

  • amazing

  • What about Jackie Gleason..Art Carney..Audrey Meadows..Honeymooners.Greatest comedy of all time..

  • raul julia_ john candy_brandon lee_bruce lee_marlon brando_chirs penn my favort starsand trevor goddard but he not here............................

  • Nobody ever really dies, not while there are people left who remember them

  • John Belushi was born in 1949, not 1945.

  • Katharine Hepburn. You spelled it wrong.

(My favorite actress. You got to 2003 and I was in tears just preparing for it.)

  • They kept us entertained for years, both on and off the silver screen. Many of them giants of the film business in their time, and now death, the great leveller has reduced them to a few images and some dates......and wonderful memories.

A very poignant tribute for those of us who remember all the faces, and a wee reminder that some day we'll join them as just pictures and some dates, and of course, memories.

Excellent music choice as well - very fiting.

  • What happened to: Buster Keaton, Harold Lloyd, Edgar Bergen, The Marx bros., Bobby Troup, Julie London, & Harry Carey? They definitely should have made it on here. R. I. P. you all.

  • I had no idea Bruno Kirby died!!

  • beautiful tribute

  • beautiful tribute and perfect soundtrack for this peice...what is the music?? stunning i must say

  • You have done such a wonderful job putting this together....I too have grown up with these great actors and singers....hopefully in years to come they shall be remembered. God bless them for bringing so much entertainment to the general public.

  • R.I.P from Los Angeles...i miss Steve Irwin

  • Wow! Bob Hope lived for 100 years. Thats alot. Nice video

  • 1)Thank's guys for your comments!

2)Like I said it before in an early comment that this is a very "Personal Video Tribute". These Actors were part of my childhood. I grew up with them. I know that there are many actors missing but anyway it's impossible to namet them all 'cause they were so many Greats in the Past. Of course I would love to add stars like Paul Newman in this list, but this Video was made before he had passed away and I edited the score to the pictures to make a good match.

  • @TripleH1983 Were are the three Marx Bros. Something is wrong not to include them

  • Thanks great job. gotta love armchair critics

  • In my opinion, one of the greats was left out: George Burns.

There were way too many singers in the list, even though they did some bit parts in movies, but this was supposed to be about the acting.

  • I agree just thinking the same thing were was George Burns

  • @c23hevy and Harpo Marx, he was my most favorite Marx Bro. I am a true Marxist of the Harpo kind

  • Nice ideia...but too many important actors missing. Where's Bing Crosby, Gary Cooper, Burt Lancaster, Ava Gardner, Grace Kelly, Randolph Scott, Cary Grant, and sooo many others? Let's face it..you got to many "minor actors "here and have left out too many important ones. Keep tryng.

  • Also left out:

    Judy Garland

    Rita Hayworth

    Steve McQueen

    Chris Farley

    Jack Palance

... oh, yeah - George Burns, too.

  • it was great, and i think it needs the addition of the late great paul newman

  • Brilliant, brought a tear to my eye.

  • Great video, well done old chap......

  • how do you make these kinds of slideshows to put on youtube?

  • Beautiful!!!! I'm glad someone asked you who the music was by, because I was thinking it was from Steel Magnolias. I'm going to go buy the Forrest Gump sound track. This is the MOST respectful, and eulogistic, memorial video I have ever seen.

  • Thank you! I really appreciate it...

  • Awesome job...you show them the respect they deserve. I loved your video. thanks. jo

  • Goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood

  • What an outstanding job to construct this. As an older guy, I am continually in awe of the spirit of giving of those (I presume to be young, relatively speaking) who make the time and have the energy and talent to create and upload such videos. (Great accompanying music too.)

  • thanks a lot for your comment

  • omg tht was a good pic of heath ledger! i miss him his role was good as the joker in the dark knight!

  • I am 28 so please forgive me, but I had no idea Roy Black died!! And 17 years ago!

  • The music is the suite from Forrest Gump by Alan Silvestri.

  • I like it

  • You forgot Jock Ewing Jim Davis, Peter Pan Mary Martin but thanks for the memories.

  • bravo, for all. Excellent your video.

  • god be with u audrey hepburn

  • this was very informative, touching and a beautiful tribute to YOUR favorite actors that have passed on...u need NOT add anyone else to it..i can see these were YOUR favorite actors and such as it may...if folks want to add actors...MAKE YOUR OWN TRIBUTES...

the music was beautiful as well...very, very well done...i commend u.

  • I wanna thank you for your post! I appreciate it!

  • What is the title of the music from the start?

  • The Joker Lives on R.I.P Heath

  • I honor my best friend Paul Newman in this video
