what a voice eh? I remember this was a smash sensation in about 1971 here in Australia. The guy looks nothing like how I imagined he would look. I thought he would have looked much older, but of course he looks young, but had i seen him back then he MIGHT have looked old. GREAT singer. I'm going to look online to see if he still performs.

Gerry's My Prayer was played at my father in laws funeral which brought tears to the eyes of all in attendance.

Gerry was a class act with a fabulous voice.

My friend knew him he lived not far from my friend in south shields aparantly he used to go in the local beting shop everyday when he appeared on top of the pops in 1970 singing sally noel edmunds said he was the most unlikely pop star he had ever seen . he had a great talent he died quite young to he was only 54.
