  • Been a HateBreeD fan for years but just discovered these guys, cant believe what ive been missing.

  • 3:35 Click here for breakdown

  • 6 people LICK MY FUCKIN BALLS

  • how can you dislike this?

  • so many emotions rush to the surface

  • and in your memory i won't take this life for granted

    EVER AGAIN!

  • fuck i feel this song...RIP DZV

  • fuckin epic!!

  • Now this song is about pain, pure and simple.

Jamey Jasta really has a way with words in a genre of music that is almost entirely devoid of the capability of expressing their emotions effectively to the listening audience.

Feel free to follow me on tumblr:

  • @Thesmartestdummy

I wouldn't say that it's "almost entirely devoid". Problem is, that many artists/bands aren't well-known enough to be what the masses would call "mainstream". Too many rappers/rock-and-rappers out there think metal in general is about how fast you play and how loud you scream, not about expression, and sadly, the "new metal" generation thinks the same-- with their Slipknot, Limpbizkit, and all that other crap.

This is metal at its purest, most true.

  • @Metalwarhorse I wanted to point out that Slipknot puts a fuck ton of emotion into every song they write

  • Comment removed

  • Last line is actually...

"And in your memory I WONT take this life for granted"

  • i love this song cause it makes me want to think about alot of things like if u really listen to it then you would know what i mean

  • Now that's fucking metal. So much pain in this song. Pain and absolution.

We all fight we all Die. What you listen to on your ipod while your here doesn't change who YOU ARE. But It damn sure says a lot about your character.

    RIP my friends.

  • RIP DIMEBAG

  • every time i hear a riff that kirk writes i just wanna stomp on the fuckin ground.

  • so i'm screaming into the sky, cause it's my only way to say goodbye!!! fukin classic and epic!!!

  • jamey josta is fcking beast......nothing else u can say....all his songs r really amazing

  • I love this song. It makes me want to.......

  • I love this song. RIP DIME! I really sounds like Phil in the background.

  • Goddamn, what a song. I love that solo!

  • Ok now I know those words at 2:21 were for dimebag. sounds like something phil would say. sucks he didn't get to go to the funeral...that must've messed him up BAD

  • @rocklikebrucelee Yeah it sucks but it was the best thing for Phil in my opinion. It definitely humbled him. I love Pantera but Phil turned into a major prick. I'm glad he's back and off the H.

  • Am I the only one who think its Phil Anselmo that speaks at 2:21 ?

  • @choke303 It sounds alot like Phil but I think its kirk about his brother Dime

  • @choke303 Dude i've always thought that. That deep voice part on this song reminds me of Phil on Crowbar's "Broken Glass" album! Later

  • @choke303 That is totally Phil. I have been listening to Pantera for 18 years & I know that is his voice.

  • @iamsoutham No Its Not Its Jasta

  • @iamsoutham

    Well to bad your wrong

    Kirk and Jamie

  • @iamsoutham ur the dumbest person on this planet thats jasta from hatebreed, and kirk from down... u dont even know pantera man :(

  • @iamsoutham your a dumb motherfucker hahaha

  • the power of the riff compels me...........

  • hellbooster15 just go die

  • Really Hellbooster15? Say that to a solider's face. And you can start right here with me

  • i thought the slow parts were done by phil from pantera? tribute song to dimebag?

  • @fwfdiluted um.............. isnt the entire song kinda slow????? meaning that it all sounded phil anselmo?????

  • @yoyoofdeath im really not to sure at this point. but i did hear what choke303 is saying at the top. phil speaking to dimebag as he never got to properly apologize for the fight they had before the show he was murdered at.

  • Best song on the album, they are all good but this is the best fucking riff ever played!!

  • Fuckin' love this song. Kirk and Jamie sound awesome together in this one.

  • I fucking love this song. So much emotion and thought.

Also, to those pricks talking about the military. Anything the USA has done is NOTHING compared the imperialistic hell Europe caused every other continent for hundreds of years. So just shut the fuck up.

  • so what are you? a descent of the imperialistic hell that europe has caused in north america? how's that better than being a descent of a european?

  • where we stop, america continious.. but with more advanced and terefying weaponary

  • @slayinggod It's not OK for you to rip off the ATM just because I robbed the bank...

  • fucking great tune

  • I wonder if they would make it, if it wasn't for Wiendstein... =P Awesome band though!

  • @alex2410 well, with out kirk the would most likely be like hatebreed, imo kirk is the one who is behind the slow parts.

  • there's always sum bitch gotta talk shit! awesome song!!!!!!!!!!

  • I can't find tabs anywhere

  • haha like it kill em all indeed

  • does anyone know where I can get tabs for this song?

  • Hey everybody! GO FUCK YOURSELVES, AND LISTEN TO THE GODDAMNED METAL!!!!!!!

  • Umm we are! And go fuck yourself too!

  • Already have. Your mom watched, too.

  • Took you all day to think of that one?

  • Nope. 3 seconds.

  • @hellbooster15 im confused by that...are you supporting the american troops or arent you?

  • @hellbooster15 u sir make no sense

  • american military and not only americans are just fucking rednecks and assholes, martyr is right, you are just taping on your fucking keyboard in your fucking seat in america, think to the kids and innocents who are kill in the (too many) lands under american dictator (japan, irak). If you want make a good video, make one about the people who are fighting against your fucking government. Freedom! never stay on the knees!

  • Quite the historian lmao!! The Japs got the point and havent tried to bully anyone since then now have they? The only way to reach worrld peace is through a minor eradication.

  • Fuck um. Kill em all.

  • what the fuck is "sludge". when did that become a genre?

  • @23usmc23

When bands like EHG started mix doom-metal and hardcore punk.

  • who cares what kind of music it is....you defeat the freedom of purpose of freedom of opinion and speech by telling someone that their interpretation of the music is incorrect.

  • nice tuneeee

  • It's "In your memory I WON'T take this life for granted ever again"..... but anyways this is a badass song. I'm not a military kinda guy but I DO respect the troops who serve this country and fight to protect pieces of shits like martyr2005. (although they dont desrve it). So I say awesome song and Thanks to the people who risk and serve this country, no matter how ignorant the people are of their sacrifice.

  • serve a country? or serve their interests that make you become a soldier,,,,,just think about who is the idiot after reading this, i quote "Military men are just dumb, stupid animals to be used as pawns" -- Henry Kissinger

    .....

  • the song would be better without the metalcore touch

  • Because of the clean vocals? Because of the breakdown? That belongs to fucking hardcore, dude, metalcore just copied from hardcore and thrash metal and made a generic style ;)

  • This ain't fucking metalcore.

  • Im working on a video dedicated to the troops with this song, not about the war or any bullshit like that, no politics, just respect and honor to the men and women in the service. gonna take time and make it good. Such a powerful fucking song

  • all the troops that serve in a war, are sheep , a sheep is expected to die by its master...so happens with troops,

we the people have the power, of having peace around the world if we dont "serve" our country , you actually dont serve your country going in a war, you serve the greedy people that are in power....well thats what they think cause, we give them that power, dont go to military, and if they want oil,,,,they will have to go theirself for it,,,,

  • martyr get the fuck out of this country you fucking piece of shit. you do realize that everyone who enters the military VOLUNTEERS, so they KNOW what they are getting themselves into. and it's not about serving your country, it's about serving the man next to you.

  • Comment removed

  • yep they "know" that are going to liberate people from tirany, they "know" they will find WOMD , they know that a guy from caves could beat 3 trillion budget of military and smash comercial planes to towers without being shot down during 80 m...

what they dont know is that they have been lied...

and dont warry cause i dont live in a country where the people's stupidness is even bigger than their bodies, guilty of the biggestt killing ever the atomic bomb,

ruled by the jew lobby and cfr

    idiot

  • totally agreed, imagine that a war is caused by some stupidity like football (like Honduras-El Salvador war) or just because two capitalist countries are in debts with each other. So there goes the volunteers to war kiling themselves without feeling any anger against the opposite country. Presidents and Prime-Ministers just have to give orders and watch their soldiers die, like a strategy computer game.

  • yeah, but football as u say , is a stupid thing that exists , think about countries going to war to defend they (NONE prooven to exist) gods

    religion sux

  • ok , they are volunteers, maybe because they are constantly bombarded with "american wants you", maybe because the militars goes to the shop malls to recruit young guys to replace the dead ones?, maybe because they dont have a job , maybe cause the public opinion is misguide?,ok they are volunteers, but look what one of the great guys that you will defend with your life think about u,,,,i quote

"Military men are just dumb, stupid animals to be used as pawns" -- Henry Kissinger

  • by the way he won a peace novel prize,,,,,if u dont see that they dont give a shit of your life......or 3000 us civilians to justify a war for their interests then i guess he is right, you are dumb stupid animals to be used as pawns,

remember before insulting me and puting me negatives that , I DIDNT SAY THAT, ONE OF YOU LOVED MASTERS OF UR FREE COUNTRY SAID

  • KOS is hard as fuck....This shit is dedicated to the homiez~Lil Paco and Big Huey~R.I.P.

  • I've listen to this song many times now and the song is just getting better and better - looking forward to see KoS at wacken 2009!

  • yeah me to i'm also looking forward to Ko

    S. just like i loved the show of hatebreed on wacken 2008

  • I've never even heard of sludge. What the hell is it? Why is it different than any other kind of metal? I mean of what I heard Im not a fan but Im trying to figure out why its called sludge. lol.

  • I attempted to write a description here and failed. Learn by study, the way I do when I want to know about music. To start with, check out a large number of the NOLA bands - Crowbar & Down just for a start. Beaten Back To Pure & similar bands are a good next step. Check out bands like the Melvins for the early days of sludge. Check those out and do some looking around and you'll get it soon enough. Happy travels, and may you enjoy the discovery as much as I did when I first got into sludge.

  • Is like doom but mixed with MEtalcore, but its not doom.

Whatever, try listening Celestine to start.

  • most of the time its, Slow, heavy, and with a lot of breaks.

Also the sound the guitar gives is kind of muddy

and yes, check out celestine, thats a good sludge band

  • NICE!!!

i will see them this year at W:O:A!!!

  • I also saw them live with GWAR, in Edmonton.

    fucking killer show

  • caught the GWAR tour in Toronto and Kingdom of Sorrow played a kickass show there too.

  • nope its sludge/hardcore

  • As your complaining that's "worse". As in "Fuck the world is getting worse." ;P

  • I saw these guys live with GWAR when they came to Memphis! I was deaf for a month afterward!

  • Wacken 2009 is going to be awesome!!! :D YEAH!

  • Ganz genau! WACKEN! Beruhigendes Gefühl gerade in diesem Moment die Karten zu streichel :D

  • Ganz genau so sehe ich das auch:D

  • WACKEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • sludge...really?

    you are fuckin stupid

  • WACKEEEENNN!!!!

  • Wacken braucht Slayer und Waking The Cadaver!!!

  • hahahaha

i like wtc but it's funny to see that name along with Slayer

like they are at the same level

i prefer wtc to layer but even I know that Slayer is far beyond :/

  • haha yes ur right, but i wouldn't like going to wacken and only having thrash or death bands to watch. it's the mix of genres what makes wacken interesting to me. but i do not support in extremo or other gay fag "metal" bands :)

  • da muss ich dir recht geben 18kenny87 ^^ aber hatebreed waren ja schon letztes jahr da

  • Jo ganz nett , aber Wacken brauch Hatebreed und Heaven Shall Burn :D

  • W:O:A needs Hatebreed ^^

  • they were there last year

  • WACKEN 2009!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I'm don't cry easily mostly, but this song never fails to bring a tear down my eye.

IT's seriously, what i'm feeling in life.

  • killer song.

    it gets me pumped up

    HELL YAA

  • this song hits a spot.... awsome song

  • Such melancholy lyrics. This is a powerful song about a lost love.

  • @cabalofdemons If Kirk wrote it, you can be sure of it.

  • @cabalofdemons

Great to see someone spell melancholoy correctly, along with using proper punctuation, grammar, capitalization, etc.

  • @thornmastro get over it dude just hear the song, stop bitching

  • that show must of kicked ass.....im stuck in canada so probaly wont get a chance to see them any time soon...they only going to like toronto, your a lucky bastard!

  • this band is awesome, kirk rocks!

  • bought this cd the day it came out. GREAT CD and this is my favorite song off the album.

  • this song is good

  • This whole album is extremely powerfull.

  • i like the singer in this band better than hatebreed i hav seen them twice in the last two months rock and shok and mayhem fest did awsome both times

  • You do know this guy and the guy who sings in Hatebreed are the same guy right? although Crowbars singer did sing most of this one, but check out led into demise

  • thats jamey on the whole song,he just changes styles, kirk sings on the album,it rules

  • actaully no man its kirks voice 95% of this song

    look it up idiot

  • I hope this is a joke, because this clearly isnt PanterA

  • no shit...

  • this is a band and a album that you know will rule right away

  • excellent, vraiment bon!bravo

  • yeah...KINGDOM OF SORROW RULEZ

JASTA & KIRK fuckin kick ass...HEAVIER THAN ELEPHANT SHIT

  • fucking great song man

  • Yeah the mere 4k fews and 31 comments in 3 months really suggests K.o.S. is 'mainstream' auger.

I love dumbasses who think they're 'true fans' because they only listen to what they proclaim is underground.

I don't really give a fuck if a band is mainstream..undeground.. whatever as long as the music is good, fuck some trivial bullshit. you're a fuckin moron.

  • SO, a month later I finally got off my lazy ass and bought the album. I can safely say I feel more satisfaction from this album than I have in a long time. That said, I wish there were a few more tracks, but it still rules.

  • this song is about what I feel since my father died in my arms in 2006...

    this song makes me strong!!!

  • I'm so sorry.. keep strong!!

  • RIP dimebag

  • never listened to sludge or doom metal before and i like the slow tempo and strong voice these guys have pretty cool. i like them 5/5

  • Well you sound like a nagging wife. The song sounds good, that's all that matters. Now go suck another dick faggot bitch.

  • what? kirk never played for pantera you dumb bastard, he play in DOWN with phil but hes been with them since like 95 or a couple years before. you obviously dont know shit about pantera and oh pantera was never mainstream until dime died, shows ho wmuch you know dumbass

  • omfg, he NEVER played with pantera NEVER he knew phil and kirk was on panteras dvd. and he plays in down wich features phil anselmo and his main band is CROWBAR not croebar you retard

  • @Goratory666 yea dawg hate to break it to ya. i never said he played with pantera. i said he only played with down for a little while. and omg its the end of the world i hit the "e" instead of the "w". im sure if u were smart and had the critical thinking skills of a 6 year old, you could figure out i hit the wrong button

  • gunna see them and soilent green august 11th w00t

  • Hmmm, been looking for a good sludge band. Vocals are ok, but I do like them. Well its not completely sluge, sludge core. Sludge with hardcore influences. Though it is ok, I don't mind it too much. I'm going to give them a bit more of a listen before giving my final verdict on liking them.

  • good band

    good album

    good vocal

    5 stars

  • I need to get off my lazy ass and buy this album. Good shit.

  • dude when you buy this album you will not be disappointed it will be one of the best decisions you eva made :D :P

  • Definitely my favorite songfrom the album as well...reminds me of so many folks I know,or had known...as well as loved ones and family members that have passed on...Just one of those songs that reaches deep down in your fucking soul.

  • to the dumbass who dont know shit about what he's talking about.thats Jamey and Kirk singing and the song Nothing by Crowbar does have Phil in the background,he was the producer of that album...NOLA has some of the best bands ...Keep it heavy ....

  • to the douchebags that dont know shit....that's Jamey and Kirk ....also nothing by Crowbar does have Phil in the background ..he was the producer of that album .if you knew anything about either band you would know that...NOLA has some of the best music ....Keep it heavy!!!
