So they had one of the projections endlessly fall for one of those M. C. Escher traps. Come to think of it, Assassin's Creed and Inception have a lot in common (dreams vs memories, a mechanical method of accessing them, shared dreaming vs shared memories, projections, etc.).

@pindalord all AC games since 2 are only about money (buying weapons, allies, and even armor fairly equivalent to what you otherwise earn via the side missions).

In the first, you earn everything through experience (weapons, life, and allies). The only exception is throwing knives, and those you can easily hunt/gather from thugs.

The first one is about freedom, how it is something apart of you. 2, Brotherhood, and Revelations are about enslavement, and how ultimately your master is your wallet.

@Influx27 I can see your point, but what AC1 doesnt have is freedom, in order to explore a town you have to be in a mission, and i don´t thing that you ears stuff through experience, because there is not an XP system, you earn stuff as the game goes by, but you ahve a very good point of view

@siayun "earn" not "ears", and "think" not "thing" (the "ng" sound is separate from a "g")

There is an xp system of sorts. It's your Sync meter. The more synched you become the more health you have. You become more synched by completing missions, seeing viewpoints, and saving citizens (who become allies). You gain equipment by progressing through the story.

As for being in missions, all the games actually work the same. You can do whatever you want, and it's up to you to trigger a mission.

What you're doing is pretty much the same throughout all AC games. It's the game's way of doing that distinguishes one from another.

It's because of this that AC is so remarkably different from the rest of the series, and it's this difference (which I discussed at length earlier) that I feel makes it better.
